yeah i have soft spot for oppai blonde (misaki especially).........

well, hope they animate the entire scene just as depicted in the LN . . . . and also the part she failed to deny it when the Princess asked . . . . .

another scene would be the christmas beach scene . . but that's surely not gonna reach the anime

Second episode showed the Baby Magnum and Water Strider fight. There was nothing special about it, since it was mainly the difference in strength which decided the battle and not a cool gimmick like future Objects. The pacing was a bit slower than the first episode, and we are left right before our three heroes begin trying to come up with a way to defeat the Water Strider. All in all, a good second episode.

But the second episode had something that bothered me. They turned this:

Quenser frantically caught the Elite girl before shouting at Heivia.

“Hey, what are we gonna do!? If it fires its plasma cannons into the cave, we’ll be cooked to death!! No matter how much this cave branches apart, all the air inside will be heated up to the point that the entire cave will be an oven!!”

“That’s what the C4’s for! Now, outta the way!! Get deeper inside!!”

Heivia urged them on and Quenser headed further inside the cave while half-dragging the Elite girl. After heading about 10 meters in, Quenser had a thought.

Into "Milinda falls on top of Qwenthur, he gropes her and mentally rejoices at the tits". I don't really care that much about this type of scenes, and Qwenthur would probably react like that in that situation as the pervert he is, but there was no need for the scene, it ruined the mood, it wasn't in the source material and it removed Qwenthur helping Milinda.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's beginning to look like the shower scene in episode 1 wasn't a one-time thing and J.C. Staff might add these fanservice/ecchi moments to the whole series.

In the manga, the Water Strider had the gimmick of being able to remain stable along the side of the mountain to ambush Baby Magnum with an barrage from above.

Yeah, that was taken from the LN and mentioned in this episode. The Water Strider's legs gives it more stability on slopes and rocky terrain. As a gimmick it doesn't compare to some of the bs some enemy Objects pull later, but I suppose it still counts. It's not like the LN gave any details of the fight beyond the Baby Magnum's self-destruct device malfunctioning, so I guess it's the official version of events.

Aside from the boobs groping scene, great episode. Let's hope J.C is not going to put in one fanservice scene per episoe.

I wonder whose hand is that at the end of the ED.

Yeah. I like fanservice but please don't change the source material like that. The shower scene was nothing but I was looking forward to the roll!
