Spoiler for almost correct, slight mis-interpretation here:

It's not no one will like her, but everyone will forget about her. She, however will retain her memories. However, the game ends in an open-end here as you found the letter written by her brother, telling you to take good care of Mai, (that's after Tokiha died), hinting that you might go find out the meaning of the letter and eventually find out about the past.

As for the sword, your family is actually the one who is in charge of monitoring the HiME ritual to make sure the last standing HiME repels the HiME star properly until your main house(many years ago) was destroyed by the first district.
The sword is made there just in case the HiMEs managed to kill each other with none surviving. If that happens, Kusanagi will be able to absorb all 12 HiME's remaining power and use it to repel the HiME star. It carries the same ability as Mikoto's sword, only it's more magical than sharp.

As for the game, I am currently uploading it in parts. It's over 5GB in size(since it's fully voiced, has a few animated movies and lots of extra features). When it's done I'll e-mail everyone who leaves theirs here for the link and password.

I too, liked this ending a lot. For all endings I've seen (anime, manga and other endings in game), Mai's true end is the best(though not in your way). Second being Natsuki's good end (a.k.a. lovely-dovely end)

Wow that sounds like a good ending, though i'm not sure if i prefered that over the anime one. So what was natsuki's like?

It's voiced and if you can read Chinese, there's also the Chinese patch (still voiced) with it. Fluency in either Japanese reading, listening or Chinese reading will enable you to play the game with as little problems at all.

Just to discourage those who're looking for indecent things: there's no sex scenes in this game. Sorry to disappoint you.

Hey i'm wondering out of curiosity, how many versions of the game are there, and which version has more stuff? i know there's a normal version for the ps2 and another one for the pc, then i saw in an few online stores that had a so-called bargan version with a different art cover.

The PC version include Shizuru Path, Midori and Nao Path
Also they add Akane, Haruka and Yukino
And every scenario have different event on the PC version...
