I hope so too. I'ld appreciate a Helly-song anytime even after the deadline.
btw. I did very much practicing yesterday, and somehow my voice chords did not like it. After a very heavy fit of coughing my throat is aching now. So try not to overdo, its just not healthy.

You might want to do some warm-up exercises before you sing something that stresses your vocal chords. Like, sing some simple melodies that fit in your vocal range first, try la-la-la up and down the notes, etc. I want to hear you sing in this karacomp. |

I've acquired a cheap mic (that's very muffled... it's sad) that I guess will have to do. I have my eye on a nicer one, but... alas, I have more university bills to pay, so it has to wait probably until Christmas-time >.<
Now I just have to pick something to sing. I have no idea what I should do @.@ |

Erf, I have rehearsal for a gig this week and Saturday I have to sing the National Anthem @ a Vet's Day Ceremony...
Uhm...I'll try to wrangle an entry out sometime after that? Yeesh... Hopefully there's less clicks this time...

I even used a more professional tool, but distortion is too extreme. If the wave band of the voice is very narrow, you could try to use band pass filter, but I think most likely the voice will span from below 1kHz to at least 5kHz. Another method would be to eliminate certain voice harmony subsamples (but you'ld need a clear voice only reference therefore). And even then the results are most likely suboptimal.
@lwl12, I will send in something definitly. And this time I plan a funny addon (okay most of you may find it irritating)

Yay for garageband. I'm going to do Byakuya True Light fron DNAngel. Remember folks... it isn't about how cool the song is. It's about how closely within your singing range the song is... Though if someone could bust out an impressive Ashura Hime or Yami no Baroque (well probably not since harmonizing isn't allowed.. though I'm sure singing on top of yourself is fine...) I'd be happy . What is everyone going to sing!?

As for myself, I currently have a couple songs in mind... fantasy from Hikaru no Go real identity from Kaleido Star God knows... from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (thanks Li Jianliang) All great series, all great songs... which one should I do? The bridge in God knows... has a tricky high part, whereas fantasy seems to have some overlapping lyrics near the end (which are quite impossible to manage, being one person, and also technologically disadvantaged when it comes to mixing audio...) Hmm... too bad we can only submit one song. ~ Noodlehead Last edited by Noodlehead; 2006-11-07 at 16:22. |
