I thought to myself, what if being a [Candidate of Origin] actually meant that all gifts were accessible to you? Or at least most gifts, until you reach [Origin] status and then ALL gifts became accessible.

[Last Future of Embryo] is something completely different from [Candidate of Origin].

Izayoi's Candidate status came from one-shotting the pure blooded dragon in vol 4.

The power to destroy [Gifts] is Izayoi's own power. Being a [Candidate of Origin] has nothing to do with that.

The power to destroy [Gifts] is Izayoi's own power. Being a [Candidate of Origin] has nothing to do with that.

My point was that Bladeknight said "what if being a [Candidate of Origin] actually meant that all gifts were accessible to you?" That collides with Izayoi´s power to destroy/cancel Gifts

Well, the [Origin] could be a lot of things. The [Origin] of humans, Gods, [Gifts], stars, Universe. It's really broad

You could argue that since Canaria is the one responsible for creating [Code;Unknown], she has the right to name it.

And it was just all the confusion with what vol 6 had.

Implication that Izayoi became one after defeating the dragon.

It could always just be a [Candidate of Origin] is a human who can match the strongest species *shrug*

…………..I guess that's not good. Frankly I have no clue what this gift is.

What I can say though is that it's not the same type or form as other “Candidates of Origin”. Rather, because it's so different, it's counted as a Candidate. If it was the same type, there would be no need to have candidates, after all.

Besides, the “Candidates of Origin” that I know of are all Demi-Celestial spirits of Earth. Please understand how weird a human boy having this Gift is in the first place.

I thought it was clear that shiroyasha isnt great at evaluating gifts but simply uses the card of laplace to tell people about gifts

Even if she isn't great at evaluating gifts at least for someone who has been in LG that loong she should be able to have some incite on most gifts. And as she said it's not the gift itselft that suprises her but the fact that it's being wielded by a human.

That's the general reaction to Izayoi himself, now that I think about it.
