The epilogue in the novel covers another subject. Can't say what it is here because of spoilers.

I think this is a first for me.
Spoiler for just in case:
XD I think the absolute brilliance of the way the scenes were put together contributed a lot, as well as Maaya's most excellent pacing.

Another subject? Wasn't the epilogue only about

Spoiler:

At least that was what I was able to find about it.

I think you refer to the eighth chapter instead of the epilogue :P

They explicitly said that they were going animate the epilogue "Kara no Kyoukai", and so they did to a T. There's no false advertising going on here.

I was going to drop this, but I am curious. Do you encode them with h.264 or leave them as raw, ripped data, on your HDD?

I thought there were only seven since Baka-Tsuki only has seven.

On a side note, mine shipped today. I guess they decided to release it a little earlier.

The "eighth" chapter shouldn't be considered as part of the original novel since it was released long after the novel's release.

Naturally, this also means that the chapter also falls outside of the scope of the adaptation.

Watched the epilogue just now and I must say I loved every minute of it.

I don't know about the animation though. The characters just look as if they were copy and pasted onto a background. It just doesn't seem to match to me.

Rip, reencode, watch, release, upload to the internet, delete from HDD and never think about it again (real men do not have backups; they upload their stuff to the internet and get the rest of the world to mirror it for them). If I ever want it I can just download it again. I watch very little anime and rewatch even less. The delete button is a pretty good feature.

Ah. Well, I'll stick with putting a disc in my player and watching it on my big HDTV with surround sound on my comfy couch with a blanket.

And I don't like to rely on the world. There may be a day where you can't get what you want to watch, and well, that'd suck. Need something to do when those zombies attack.

Ah... damn. This was some really lazy job they did with the BDs. And they really want $400 for that.

Hell, and I really wanted to buy this.
