Yuno sure knows how to get close to a guy and somehow I'm not buying her being actually scared in the amusement park epsecially when half of body fell in front of them, she has something far worse at her house 0_o

Yuki has no manly qualities at all... not to mention that it was Yuno who bought everything, Yuki can't even hold umbrella -_-

Minene seemed very diefferent in this episode, it's like all her crazyness has dissapeared and she seemed to be very likeble 0_o
Though she sucks as proffesional terrorist... to take medicine from someone suspiciouse especially when you are involved in deathly match and are a terrorist that everyone are looking for.
Also looks like she is a war child, that explains her crazyness.
I really felt bad for her at the end, her eye will never find peace.

This detective dude seems suspiciouse, he has way too untrustwrthy look and smile.

I really don't like Yukki myself but with all due respect I'm totally taking his side here. There is no way I would want to stay in the same house with a freaking stalker, who has no hesitation in killing and who has dead bodies at her house! Where is any gurantee that he would not be next? Especially after she found her secret and when she appears behind you like that? To top it, there is no light so you can barely see anything so who knows what else she could be hiding in there. There is also no one around to help him in case of emergency and let's be fair. Yukki stand no chance against her.
I would also run for my life and possibly talk tomorrow or some other day but during sunlight and in crowded area!
If they had known each other for long time, I might have taken your side. But Yuki knows her only for few days and his reaction was totally approved in that situation. Besides the diary said that apple had turned into god knows what, I take it that she had planned to poison him.

Yuno is a hige idiot too, to take Yuki to her house when sveral days aways she has piles of bodies! I'm suprised he didn't smell them.

However, I totally don't get how this bodies are affecting anyone's future... is break up between them of such importance?

Over all I have enjoyed thise episode the most, no flying rockets from under the skirt!

P.S. I don't agree with Ex Machinas reasoning, almost any human would take a look in that room. Curiousity was always a strong thing.

I have to disagree. Admittedly, Yukkii is still pretty useless, but at the very least he showed some initiative in going along with Fourth's plan and even maintaining his calm around Yuno at the amusement park.

Given how he saw her intentionally blow up rooms full of innocent students just the other day, to be acting so casual around her deserves a fair bit of credit.

Yukkii is still much too weak to directly confront Yuno, much less stand on his own against the own diary users, but I believe the coming conflicts will help him to grow and change, just as Deus had implied in the first episode.

This isn't about what any other human would do. This is about Yukkii, being in the questionable relationship with Yuno that he is, opening that door and the consequences that will come as a result of it.

Do you really believe that after seeing what was inside that room, Yuno would've let anyone else but Yukkii walk out of that house alive? I certainly don't. But that it was Yukkii and that he did survive is very significant, hence Deus' reasoning isn't really as off as you might think.

Besides she is not the strongest character out there and could be easily killed by some of the diary users before she would have a chance to really do anything.

You just said it yourself. The only reason Yukkii is alive right now is because Yuno is obsessed with him, hence making him an exception to any and everyone else who would've opened that door, our beloved yandere almost certainly killing them on the spot.

It's within Yukkii's unique position that all of the other diary users' futures were changed. How exactly Yuno will play into all of this is unclear; however, what is clear right now is that the madness lying within her is slowly coming to the surface.

Yuno took Yuki home. At first I though that she was just really poor for the power being turned off. But no, to my surprise Yuno really took Yuki home; complete with later that yandere gaze through the door at that end. All you had to do was get laid, Yuki, but you had to go and open that other door. You could've rolled around with Yuno on the floor all night long while the cockroaches the next room over were singing to Salsa Dura. We really wanted the television censors screaming for mercy for the many hours it would've taken to edit. And we likely don't even need a future diary to tell us that those censors may be screaming for an whole other reason now. ...Not that I mind anyway. Thanks Yuki!

I was trying to figure out the whole significance of the single apple there in the middle of the table. Yes, it was strange, but what was the significance? Obviously, Yuno has enough money to buy things (amusement park and convenience store), so I do not think lack of food is the point. It is from her back yard, so yes, she grew it. However, what other significance is there?

The more obvious assumption with why the future has changed with the opening of the door is that Yuki no longer trusts Yuno. That in turn might lead to him having more difficulties fending off his attackers, and he would not have the privileges of knowing what happens to him (via Yuno's phone). It might also force him to make tougher decisions later on, and he might align himself with others he would not have otherwise, in order to survive.

Yes, Yuno is a bit out there, but I am positive that she will continue to defend Yuki in ways she can. I just am not sure how she will do it (maybe kill those who try to approach him before they have a chance to kill him).

Well, the easiest guess as to who the bodies were are her parents and a sibling. I have to wonder how crazy she is though if she's been living alone all this time with no power. She obviously must steal/kill for money so she can eat, stay clean, and have clean clothes for school, but apparently not enough to pay the electric bill (unless she was actually telling the truth that it was the storm). I'd hate to see what her bathroom/toilet look like.

After spending the night, she would have disposed of the bodies somewhere...the psycho girl would have taken the blame.

I don't believe she killed her family. Her family was probably killed by the third to get to her but she lost her marbles when they died. And her crush with her classmate turned into an obsession. It's the only emotional tie she had left.

I think they'll get back with each other but this one incident just made things random again.

To those wondering about whether or not the apple was poisoned, don't all apples start to turn brown after they are peeled (or at least what's left on the core afterwards)?

Obviously not an immediate thing, but the time difference between her her leaving to peel the apple (18:00), coming back with it (18:10), and it starting to oxidize (18:18) is not immediate either...

It's not explicit in either the manga or this adaption but I think it works best if you assume the police gave our duo passes to the park and some spending money. I also tend to think this was probably the best time Yuno has had in some time

When they get to the house Yuno tries to act like "oh, hey, the power just got cut off, isn't that a bit strange"; like as if a tree fell or it was something that just happened. The point of the apple is supposed to be that it's just a bit strange, and she "should" be offering some other kind of food (or maybe something to drink). I don't fully get it but it's supposed to be slightly off.

I actually consider this a slight plothole -- if that's Yuno's story, shouldn't the both of them at least think to check their diaries, b/c maybe it's the prelude to an attack! -- and I tend to think the choice of an apple was b/c the author needed something Yuno could have left out on the table, but would've needed to take back to the kitchen to prepare, thereby giving time to go look for the bathroom. Needing to use a sharp knife to prepare it is a nice plus, as is the fact it's something you'd eat with your hands, not chopsticks.

But again, this is a work that's great more "in spite of" its logic gaps, and overthinking the mechanics of some of the scenarios is probably a bad idea.

It's symbolic of Adam and Eve. Eating the fruit of knowledge got both kicked out of the Garden of Eden. He could have ignored the door but he had to look, thus changing his future of married bliss and happiness.

The detective, Yuno, and Yuki were destined to win. Their three phones would have been able to thwart the others. Then the three good guys would have been happy dying of natural causes and letting the game go on for decades without a winner.

Episode 3 was pretty good. Not as great as Episode 2 was, due to how excellent Episode 2 was in its explosive action and unpredictability, but still pretty good.

I felt that Yuki was Ok this episode. Actually, seeing a male character be shy over being seen in swimwear is... different, anyway. Yuno is right, at least as far as anime is concerned - It's usually the female characters that are shy over that, if any characters are. So playing around with gender conventions here was interesting.

Yuno is a lot of fun.

Basic storytelling and plot movement in Episode 3 was very good, I felt.

Mirai Nikki isn't one of my favorite shows of the season, but it's become a rock solid 2nd-Tier watch for me.

8/10 for Episode 3.

oh boy look things were normal & fun til yea we got our version of pandora's box opening aka open the door & what yuki get yea yuno dark's secret & soon rise of yandere goddess.

I liked the fact that while the first episodes were great based on pure adrenaline, this one was great based on humor, buildup and suspense. Trust me, this story has many facets that have not yet become apparent. As great as the first three eps have been, the best is still very much to come. I'm just really encouraged that Asread gets this manga. They may not have the biggest budget and the finest CG, but they clearly understand exactly what experiencing this story should feel like.

I like Yuki. He's very genuine, and while he's been somewhat skittish so far he doesn't come off as the classic "spineless male lead" for me. Because of the way he's written his actions seem entirely logical based on the circumstances he's experiencing. As for Yuno, well - there's not a lot more that need be said there. She's pretty unique.
