Side stories arent that important so is he doing vol9 next?

And whats with all the yuri hate shes one of the best, ericas the one that annoys me claiming to be the main wife any chance she gets, liliana and luo hao ftw

Just take a look at the end of Vol 4 chapter 7, when Doni kicked the sorry ass of Perseus.

Well, side stories are not very important, but that is up to Zzhk-sama (Please don't bug him, he's already paralyzed by [Raptor] mode)

if that is true, doesn't seem like it would be possible for the anime to end at 12 episodes since, in my opinion, there is no way to put vol 9 content together with next episode

I'm pretty sure Athena was just written into the V5 storyline. There's no way that's from V9.

I'm still hoping for a second season regardless of the QUALITY they have in this first season. I just hope that Athena involvement in the anime will not destroy that possibility completely

It was also stated that because Sun Wukong's fellow apprentices were summoned as subordinates as opposed to being independent, they were much weaker than what they should have been if independent.

Remember the part where Yukari called him Onii-chan? His first thought was, "Which parents illegitimate child are you?" I think the implication is that they were both similar to the grandfather.

While it is said Godou resembles his grandfather, Shizuka resembles her mother, does anyone fear that maybe Shizuka will grow up like her mother (from the "Which parents illegitimate child are you?" line)?
