I can't be sure, but judging by how I often hear young kids say the nastiest language, this could very well be a very realistic setting.

Of course, this could also be just a very crude translation, made to make people think that this girl isn't as cute and innocent as they would like to.

Yes, but the marriage requires a license.

It is usually meant for families of teenage pregnancies to prevent an abortion or the father from running away; most registrants are around 16. Since the boy can't divorce the girl until they are both of independent age, there is plenty of legal pressure to keep them in line and "take responsibility of what they have done".

Social workers usually force them to go back to school and get at least a diploma so they can rear the child.
