Well, end of the road for me. 210 runs, 104 S-ranks, no Yuu. At some point this whole endeavour turned into a statistical experiment, rather than actually hoping to get her. Can call that a coping mechanism to protect sanity.
Breakdown: 210 sorties, 104 S-ranks - with the changed lineup after 50 runs: 160 runs, 89 S-ranks Total consumption: 178k fuel, 164k ammo, 146k steel, 13k bauxite, 715 buckets Drops: I did mention statistical experiment, right? That's why I added those drops to mine from the clearing phase and the drop list posted by Klashikari a few weeks earlier to make a little table with drop percentages: First percentage colum is overall percentage, second is as percentage of the rarity group. Honestly, the devs should stop making 50% of the drops of a final event map silver drops which only contains - for the lack of a better word - trash. People shouldn't have to walk through four battle nodes to get a 50% chance at the likes of Nagara or Atago. It's ridiculous. Second, it's irritating that the Kongō-class make up 47% of the gold drops (to which Yuu belongs). I opened up the session today with four Kongōs for the four S-ranks. Just saying. In addition to that another 18-20% of the gold drops are Maruyus. Last but not least, I reiterate my criticism from the Winter Event - the "reward" in terms of drops for going hard mode is pretty slim. I am a tad miffed, that Yuu drops on easy, seeing how low her percentages are for hard. At least this time clearing hard mode gave a FuMO radar, which is very good. But in terms of drops I see no advantage whatsoever for going hard mode. So either adjust the drop percentage to reflect the effort needed for hard mode, or introduce an option to go down in difficulty for farming purposes after clearing the entire event. Oh well, so in the end this turned into one big and expensive leveling session: Hiyō: 50 to 89, Kongō: 121 to 126, Nagato: 90 to 98, Mutsu: 80 to 95, Bisko: 91 to 98, Ōyodo: 82 to 96, Ōi: 96 to 99, Yukikaze: 89 to 97, Shigure: 88 to 97, Junyō: 82 to 96

However, if you plan to marry Yamato, you can actually benefit from the marriage, as your waifu will consume less resources than before. And so, resupply will be a little less expensive. Other than that, Yamato are sometimes treated as a seasonal shipfu, as it may help you clearing stages of the season events on higher difficulties. To be honest, I couldn't accept that she cannot be used outside PvP and dock "as a Hotel" for too long, but at least take her out for a while if not frequently. Maybe once per day at the very least. Well, the event is over! I ended up with 2x U-511, cleared E1-E7 under 40k resources and it's been rather fun.
E6 is not bad to farm at all. I am pretty happy about how things have turned out overall.

Around 150 of fuel, ammo and steel is enough for nearly everything, and that is achievable within five weeks. The next event is about three months away.

The repair costs aren't influenced by level. Only the repair time is. Since Yamato and Yamato Kai have the same base fuel cost, repairing let's say 50 damage on level 1 takes just the same amount of resources as 50 damage on level 150. The only difference that affects repair cost between marriage and non-marriage is that the HP is bumped up a bit.
