Resonance of Fate is not difficult just complex at the beginning and then becomes so easy. "I like it when it gets messy"

Anyways here have a trailer in english

Nothing difficult about ROF. One of the easiest rpgs I've ever played once I figured out the combat system. It's more of an annoying grind imo.

I only agree with FFXIV bombing and that is because the game was released in a very unfinished state. The previous SE MMO made a ton of money FFXI. If you want to call something bombing just look at ROF in terms of sales compared to the games you mentioned. I think you're confusing your personal taste in games with "bombed".

It isn't hard. It's just a grindfest. The beginning makes you think it's hard, but when you got the hand of it, it becomes a "one-trick-wonder" game. There isn't much strategy.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Japanese FFXIII-2 site? IP blocking in place?

EDIT: Nevermind, just change the 'www' to 'web' in the URL and you're good to go.

edit: I'm not sure if I'm reading this right but checking out VGCHART shows that over 4 million copies of FF13 was sold internationally? Can anyone confirm this? If so that would mean most of the units sold were internationally. How many jrpgs even come close to those numbers on PS3/XBOX360/WII consoles?[
lol Using VGCHART as sales figures. They pull numbers out of there ass. There's a reason why they've been ban on Neogaf site because the guy who made VGCHARTZ himself admitted to making numbers up.

1)Have any data to show most Japanese don't like FF13? (not sites like Sankaku or 2ch)

2)Know a better way to find out how many units of FF13 were sold?

Random internet searching reveals other places showing around the same numbers. Do they all steal VGZCHARTZ's data and is there a way to prove how much a game has sold? How about if a site says "Square Enix have publicly revealed its top selling games released in 2009." would that be believable then?

^ Clearly, the severe lack of sexy doujin is an accurate indication that it wasn't received as well ...

Kidding. But it is true that it isn't too popular in THAT side of things...which boggles my mind since Lightning is the first main female protagonist since FF6...and hot too....hmmmmmmm?

Funny. Whilst I was in Japan last year, it sure looked like most of Akihabara was still quite into FFXIII. Mind you this was over 5 months after it had been released over there too... So yeah, no one really liked the game in Japan... </sarcasm>

VGChartz do make up numbers it's only when the actual data being from NPD/Media Create Sales/Famitsu when they change to the real numbers but this isn't always. Anyways I checked their numbers and for FF13 there right it's only sold so far 4.46 still far below the so called 6 million number a previous poster said. FF13 has also sold less in Japan compared to FF7, FF8, FF9 and FF10 all of which sold over 2 million in it's 2nd or 3rd week. FF13 hasn't budged from it's 1.9 million spot in Japan. Don't expect it to hit 2 million ever, not so good for a FF game.

Right because me correcting somebody saying that 6 million shipped doesn't mean sold.

ZOD so S.E is lying and all the sites that claim 5.5 million are wrong?

http://www.justpushstart.com/2010/05...its-worldwide/

Well either way would 4.5 mil be consider successful to you? which was my main point in the first place.

Again Shipped doesn't mean sold/bought by gamers. For a game yes it is successful to sale 4.5 million but for a FF game compared to it's previous popular entries, FF7 being at 9.72, FF8 being at 7.86, FF9 being at 5.30, FF10 being at 7.95, FF12 being at 5.73 not as good. Especially considering this game was multiplatform.

Note that Square Enix expected this game to sale 6 million because it was multiplatform but they fell 1.5 mil short:

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/29/sq...eed-6-million/

Anyways were getting way off topic. What I would like to see in FF 13 - 2 is more open environments and less corridors. If possible a job system.

I agree, the good part of FFXIII was the battle system , sad that the game was incredibly linear and that decision made the game boring in the end, not to mention that it don't have any replay value at all.
But i think that Square Enix will learn from their mistakes and give us the fans a good game from FFXIII-2.
