Lol I don't get the romance at all, anyone care to explain? So eventually the tsun character begins to have a liking to the main character? But what for what reason?

The series was a bit strange to me at first, I didn't get the way they presented the show. But eventually I began to like it as it progressed. Preferably I liked the girl, and how her character changed throughout the show, slowly as she began to intereact with the boy that had saved her.

what is there to explain? like in many stories, the girl fell for the guy because he was nice to her and nobody else was, and she was lonely. Very common reasons women fell for men and she told this to him. The only difference was that the girl took the initiative and the boy accepted her feelings.

I need to expand on that.

Hitagi didn't fall for the guy because he was nice to her; if it was all about doing one favor for another, then what she said in ep 3, that of doing him a favor of his choice for one week (perverted or not), would have been enough to even the score.

What made Hitagi love him is NOT what he had done, but who he IS as a person. To love someone isn't an action, but a state of being. She would BECOME his lover, fundamentally changing her status as an individual. But to do that, she can't love him just because of his actions, but who he IS as a human being.

Hitagi love him because he is the type of guy who help people unconditionally. Love for who he is, not what he does. And that's why it took until ep 5 for her to confess, as that was how long she took to confirm he is the type of person she wants to love.

Exactly she said it directly in episode 5. She said i have figured out what type of person you are. He is the type of person who would help anyone not getting anything out it he would help anyone for the simple fact that who Hitagi is. Once i heard her say that part i knew instantly why she feel for him.

阿良々木ごみ...ガハラさん最高!! It was pretty interesting how it was presented in 100 parts, but I feel that Hirano Aya just doesn't Shinobu very well. The final track was moe worthy though.

It's actually Gahara-san. He gives it to her later in the novels and tries to spread it around, but doesn't have much success. Hitagi calls him Araragi Gomi in the drama cd though, which means trash btw.

It is unbelievable that Shinobu's seiyuu and Haruhi's seiyuu are the same.

Not the number of views per month, but from what I understand, the amount of ON-TOPIC posts per day... quite a few of the sub-forums tend to have posts that appear every two minutes or less when a new episode/chapter of manga has appeared

we're only at about 50 pages over five episode... except in some of the cases, we'd usually need about twice this amount by now to get a sub-forum

... that, and a lot more hype of upcoming things needs to be put in as well

Is the sub-forum really that necessary? I don't think there's much to talk about in this show. Beside, one thread is better for discussion and also easier to track, IMO.

Spoiler for the usual staffs explanations, feel free to ignore:

Unsure about Suzuki Toshimasa and Sugiyama Nobuhiro in episodes 7 and 9 but from the look of it, Suruga Monkey has much better staffs, direction-wise, than Mayoi Snail (which was full of "ugh, who the hell is this"). Leaving animation directors unspecific for all episodes make me feel a bit unease, though.

Fukuda Jun being credited as episode director probably means episode 6 will be outsourced to SILVER LINK, the rest is pretty much unpredictable. Episode 7 maybe either in-house, Diomedea or WHITE FOX. Oonuma Shin participation in episode 9 is pretty much unexpected for me (as he has Natsu no Arashi 2 the next season and Baka to Test to Shōkanjū for the next year), I really hope he don't throw in some random references this time.

From the official blog, they seems to have re-dubbed something for the recap episode that's going to broadcast tonight (JST) and it will "make the light novel's readers happy". My guess is 30 mins recap with Koyomi's monologue. It should be fun.

For the drama CD, I still couldn't accept Shinobu's Konata voice but Kanbaru and Nadeko's voices are just perfect. Really expecting for more Kanbaru's ero talk!
