...still waiting...
Honestly, I'm not waiting to see her mother this time. I want to know, if Kawashima eventually will talk to Takasu again. In her own special way, most of of love, of course...
But I'll have to wait for english subs, because I don't understand more than 5-10 words in Japanese..... I'll watch without, nevertheless. |

Seems like the more drama the less animation quality, faces in this episode sometimes were as sketchy as in the ep 16 (Sumire vs Taiga fight).
Spoiler for however taiga now was much more cute than in ep16 :

I suppose it gives people a lot more reason to buy/read the novels. I'll just watch and ignore any knowledge of the novels and see how the storytelling stands on its own.

As a note to the animation. I love it when there's action and they get raw like that. You see it when Taiga is running after Ryuuji in the episode of the dance and she comes to her realization. The animation went wonky. I love it though because it adds an extra definition to the detail. |

The massive compression of adaptation was inevitable given the tight "2 cour for 10 volumes" problem. The most one can hope for is a giddy synopsis of the plot and highlights - rather like a travelogue.
