Interestingly, both formation has a meta-reference to both Japanese and Chinese mythology even though it is later revealed that CL (in particular its BB and BTB forms) refers to the Greek mythology than anything.

Canis Lykaon isn't one of the Four Fiends, but it's a Longinus so it's still very powerful. I wonder if it's more powerful than the Four Fiends (is that possible?). But why is Jin called a Dog God when it's the avatar of a Longinus? Isn't it ironic that a weapon that can kill Gods is called one as well?

His Sacred Gear is a Longinus. The Four Fiends aren't Longinus, IIRC.

Yeah I think you forgot their age gap so there won't be no Vali x Lavinia solving unless it's in the last volume where Vali is 16 - a year before DxD: something like that. Unless Ishi wants to make Lavinia a shotacon.

Well how many girls are there that can make Vali blush? Hell if Azazel of all man can grin at this situation, i don't think their relationship would be so simple. Especially since Azazel worries about Vali's relationship the most.

@B214: The problem isn't whether Vali fell for her while still middle-school aged, it's whether Lavinia back then already loved him. She'd have to be a shotacon, though.

The decision making in the end lies with Ishibumi. If he really wants to make that pair happen it will happen. No point saying their relationship is like sibling or not. It's matter of will it happen or will it not happen.
