Kotobuki Minako mentioned Kaori-senpai is too gentle. Hayami Saori added that Kaori-senpai won't get angry even if they skipped practice (all three of the broke out in laughter)! Then Chihara Minori suggested, for her it might be Haruka-senpai. She thinks Haruka would show patience while teaching her from the very basics. Hayami Saori added Haruka would start from the beginning to teach them. Chihara Minori added that Haruka would scold them properly when needed. Kotobuki Minako added out of the three senpai, Haruka would be the best mother, that's the kind of image she gets from Haruka. Hayami Saori also brought up Asuka as to how she would point out one's problems in playing accurately. Then they went on to discuss which instruments they found enticing (to learn). Then they were asked about their most favourite scene from Hibike! Euphonium. Kotobuki Minako mentioned the scene where she was called out by Chihara Minori (when Kumiko and Asuka were heading to Asuka's place, and Kaori called out Asuka as ASUKAAA!) including the scene where Kaori tied the laces of Asuka's shoes. Hayami Saori added there something about these two that makes her heartbeats go up! Chihara Minori mentions the scene on the riverbed where Asuka talked about Kaori which made her happy. Then the question was thrown at Chihara Minori and she mentions the scene where Kaori was hugging Yuuko after her graduation. Hayami Saori mentions there's something about those two as well. They also talked about other moments during the graduation. And also the notes written on the music-sheets. Then Hayami Saori mentions her favourite scene was Asuka and Kumiko's scene at the very end. No matter how many times she saw that scene, she could feel her heart being squeezed to the point it hurt. The final question was could they do it themselves if they were the club president of Kitauji Brass Band Club. They were at complete sync as all of them said that it would be impossible for them! They talked about how Asuka is like the 'real' president but she plays it down as if doesn't care. Then they all started praising Haruka and also were at awe of her realizing that the club had around sixty members and she had to seek the attention of so many members! The final segment of the promotional was taking a photograph like the picture they held. They failed in the first attempt as Hayami Saori mirrored herself of that of Haruka-senpai in the picture. They took it like they wanted to in their second attempt. -------------------------------------------------------- It makes me think the three will probably not have much role to play in the upcoming two new movies so it felt like a goodbye from the three veteran seiyuu for me. It was probably what KyoAni thought as well. So, it was probably like a proper sending off to them from Hibike! Euphonium. Quote:

Well, their characters can still appear to visit their Kouhai in two new films but S2 recap is probably their last major role in story. Meanwhile, no one remember Aoi and her VA.

For me, there's nothing new to develop between Reina and Kumiko. I think Reina will be pushed further behind the order unless there's a story for her (perhaps through Yume). What I am interested the most to see in the second new movie is Kumiko's role as a senpai. Yuuko and Natsuki's roles as club president and vice president respectively. I think Yuuko's character had the most development out of all the side characters. I would also like to see Reina's interactions with Yume like I mentioned (the new trumpet player) since she is the polar opposite of Reina. And who knows, with the introduction of two new tuba players, Hazuki might get some spotlight that her character deserved after Kakedasu Monaka. I never really cared about Aoi. I don't think anyone does.

Oh lord Shanimebib please give us the summary of what they said this time too.
 ............................. I don't think only Nozomi and Mizore will be in the first film. At least Natsuki and Yuuko should be in it too. All VAs for second year casts were in the event that announced these two new films after all. I think that if the story is not set in middle school like you said, it will be set in sometime before the start of new school year (Kumiko's 2nd year), acting as a prequel to the new second film. I'm also looking forward to Yuuko and Natsuki as president and vice-president.

Wonder if similar videos will be released to introduce the incoming first-years -the voice cast for "Mizore to Nozomi no Monogatari" [possibly] and "2-nensei ni Natta Kumiko-tachi" [almost certainly]- ahead of the "Todoketai Melody" premiere as well. Two more days available for their appearance, if that's the plan.

That being said, I am not entirely sure how some fans are gonna react to the way one third of the time the four of them were made to TALK GOOD about a certain trombone guy. I wasn't expecting something like that. Somehow it felt like the comments/questions weren't just random but staged. I mean what are the chances of Asai Ayaka picking that first comment after Kurosawa Tomoyo (Kumiko) mentioned him practically out of nowhere at the start of the comments/questions segment. Well, their nice opinions, especially those of Kurosawa Tomoyo and Anzai Chika (Reina), about his character as how they saw him shouldn't really matter as those opinions were their opinions not as the characters in the story but as real individuals. So, there's no need to panic. Because it felt like they were preparing us to accept something was what I started to think until they brushed him aside like all they wanted was to eat! Because if they hadn't gone through the comments/questions they wouldn't be able to try the BBQed stuff! Haha! Good job! Point to be noted that it was adorable how Kurosawa Tomoyo said the highlight for her would be the puffy cheeks of chibi Asuka! But I guess the best promotion came from Anzai Chika as she mentioned the music will be quite an experience in the theatre than in the TV and she's eagerly looking forward to that. Amazingly enough, despite of her character with so much high spirit in Midori, Toyota Moe seemed rather reserved compared to the other three present in the meet! Anyways, I am looking forward to the new movie! Damn, KyoAni's going overboard for Hibike! Euphonium which makes me super happy! I mean it was the latest anime to enter my all time Top 10 after Chihayafuru after all!

However, I am expecting both movies to be something like Love Story, Disappearance, Koe no Katachi or K-On! The Movie. The possible content for the second new movie is already taking shape in the form of the new volume(s) and I am sure KyoAni already gathered Takeda-sensei's thoughts on what to expect in the story. I am hoping to see at least 2 hours long movie for the second one. That would be like 5-6 episodes worth of content of an average TV episode. Good enough time to successfully adapt a single volume (300+ pages of novel) into a movie without rushing it. [Side note: Yes, I did. But it is said to be a spinoff. So, I don't know what to expect. Besides, the character I like the most in that manga hardly makes any appearances in the main story despite of being one of the three main characters. I am not sure whether that character will make any notable appearance in that manga at all.]

In theater, people who go to see S2 recap movie will get a special period where they are allowed to use their phone to take a picture of special artwork that appear on screen.
Previous week is this one For this week You can also buy movie pamphlet which included the information of movie, character and comment from staffs. There is also new artwork in it Note: All images were NOT taken by me.. I just found them on Twitter.
