Not very specific, just need a anime that will keep me interested, so some action but some romance mixed in, something supernatural or fantasy would be nice but it doesn't have to be. hmmm lets see what else, what else, oh yeah something like to love ru or Marburaho or DearS where the main heroine is a childhood friend or supernatural/sci fi creature who looks human who appears in the main protagonist life and what happens afterwards but yeah thats pretty much it WARNING: earliest it can be is 2004 and MUST it MUST be shonen (or for boys is the translation)

If you havn't already watched it perhaps you might want to give Shakugan No Shana a try

- Sakai Yuuji, a high school student who expected his normal life to last forever, is dead. When he was on his way home he witnessed a shocking view as the world suddenly froze: people were engulfed by blue flames and a monster resembling a large doll swallowed them. Just as the monster prepared to consume Yuuji, a sword-wielding girl in black attire with flaming red eyes and hair that burns like embers saved him from the monster. The girl called herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts the "Guze no Tomogara", creatures from another world. As Yuuji noticed a blue flame in his chest, she called him a "Torch", a temporary replacement, saying that the "real" Yuuji's existence had already ended. Unfazed, Yuuji befriended the strange girl, named her "Shana", and joined her fight against Tomogara and other Flame Hazes.
Genre: Action, comedy, drama, fantasy, romance, supernatural

A bit longer than expected :P

Another good one that is sort of similar to Shana is To Aru Majitsu no Index and its spinoff and sequel. Less emphasis on the drama and romance, more emphasis on the action and comedy.

hagure-yuusha-no-estetica is action/romance with supernatural elements.
Hero defeats bad guy. Good triumphs over evil. The end. Or, at least that's how it usually goes. But what happens after the hero goes home? Our hero, Akatsuki Ousawa, is about to find out that sometimes the greatest adventure starts once happily ever after ends.

Hidan no Aria also action/romance but not as much supernatural stuff .(better anyway) :P
Kinji is a junior at a high school for mercenaries. He just wants to be normal, but his secret condition—he turns into an ace killer when he’s turned on by the female form—triggers a fiery transfer student’s unrelenting desire to make him her partner.

Dragon crisis again same as the 2 above .
Ryūji Kisaragi is a normal high school boy whose peaceful life is turned into an adventure by the return of his second cousin Eriko Nanao. Ryūji and Eriko seize a relic box from a black broker, and in the box they find Rose, a red dragon girl. In order to protect Rose from the black organization, Ryuji decides to fight using his power as a relic handler.

fate stay/night really good too .

Watched Ben-to
Watched Kaze no Stigma, romance didn't come till the end of the season and never really got anywhere then the the director died

.... SO on to the light novels
Watched Nagasarate Airantou really funny i thought
Dropped Guin Saga couldn't find the romance in it
Watching Katananatgari really interesting story and art style... lets see where it goes from there
Dropped Blue Gender After around episode 4 i just thought the main was too much of a coward
Dropped Ichigo 100% Some idiot thought it would be funny to put episode 19 under episode 2 and spoiled everything

hmm... maybe Rave Master, its by the same person who made Fairy Tail and you could also give 11eyes, Dog Days (looks a bit childish but really enjoyable), Ookami-San (one of my favourite animes), RomeoxJuliet and Vampire Knight a go. People stopped giving suggestions so I thought "being a kind member of the Animesuki Community I shall voice my opinion for all to see" or somthing like that XP enjoy

Watching Okami-san the english voice actor for Ringo is the same from Yukari from R+V, anyways I think I will give this 9.5/10, Extremely funny and has some romantic parts but not long enough! shoulda had a season 2... oh well

on episode 9 of shakugan no shana season 1 Yay good series but i can't find dubbed videos after 9 :P
