as I am watching the Anime again (and translating it..) I come to think of it, that there may be some story left for Natsu´s past. The man who adopted him was poisoned.. but the woman (his foster mother-like doctor) who was arrested does not seem like a person who put up a charade.
Only maybe... it could change a lot for Hermit.

Nice turns, Kenichi. He really made a lot progress in looking skilled.

Still I want more Kenichi x Miu, but I also like the Kenichi x Shigure moments even though it will never happen or never go that way that Shigure would fall for Kenichi. Its just something thats in our head, but its nice too have some ecchi moments between master and disciple too build jealousy for Miu :P

Im glad that the grandpa was awesome but.... for it too end this quickly and Kenichi not fight against the master class weapon expert was just disappointing.

Anyone has this feeling that chapter 379 directing and panel and illustration style is really weird? I felt like I was reading a different manga.

And damn, Thor is annoying me with his harem, lol.

So gramps made short work of them, no surprise there. The ending feels a bit anti-climactic though.
Ohwell, Kenichi did show his progress, but there was no way he could have done much against the master. And fighting the grunts wouldn't have added anything, the armed apprentice probably outclasses them and Kenichi beat him easily.

Time for another big arc, preferably involving Apachai vs the Yami muay thai master and Kenichi vs Koukin.

Actually I wish the author would slow the pace down a little bit. I want more Kenichi x Miu development and some over-the-top crazy training arcs.

Plus we are running out of YAMI disciples, if this keeps up the manga will be over by July.

EDIT: And by the way, Freya's grandfather = PURE AWESOME!!! Kick ass jiichan ftw.

Nah it's cool, can't make a "save grandpa arc" in the middle of the unsetting sun or eternal sunset or whatever it was called arc...making it short actually makes it easier to read and more fun to remember.

A very enjoyable chapter to read. I really enjoyed the grandfather going spastic with the pole and pretty much showed why he is a master. Not only that, but it appears that he really let YAMI know that he was back by taking out a base. Plus, that old man is running his own personal harem and his heir apparent sumo helps run the place.

Lol at Kenichi almost being suffocated by Miu's breast, but then again the guy must pretty lucky to have a girl like that worry about him that much to get that type of reaction.

Not only did we see an awesome fight and total score for Kenichi moment with Miu, nothings better than a dive too the pool.

And I liked how Akisame, Sakai, Kensei were dumb folded over what happen too one of the Yami bases that was reportly declared destroyed by unknown causes, though it was obvious too Kenichi´s group and us readers, who did it.
