Bah, too much Seika hate. Yeah, she's snobbish and prejudiced, but that's exactly why she's so interesting when compared to the other 'perfect' heroines. And hey, I do think Seika is by far the prettiest of all the girls (everyone seems to be a bit too stacked for my tastes...)

And for the record, my personal preference for girls rarely intersect with girls I root for to win the protagonist's heart.

Yes, I'm not the only Seika fan! I have the advantage of playing the game ( although I diddnt pick up everything as my Japanese isn't perfect), and I like how Seika's personality developes. I'm sure most people will turn around as the show goes on. Like all Tsunderes, she'll have her fans.

Well, considering it seems that you certainly will never be convinced about the odds of the childhood friend (which I claim is certainly better than 50/50) no matter how big my list becomes or what criteria I use for it, I'll take a stab at arranged marriages.

Spoiler for you've been warned!:

Gankutsuou ended with the arranged couples winning as well in 2005. Futari Ecchi (and no, that's not hentai!) is basically about a couple happily living out their arranged marriage, which I think was released last around the same time. Then most recently, you also have Welcome to the NHK, done in 2006.

Heck, even Seto no Hanayome (2007) is technically under arranged marriage as well for the hero and the heroine... that instead of its their parents arranging the marriage, it's the law instead. I mean, there really isn't much 'choice' between marriage or instant death.

So it's really not as bad as you make it to be. Arranged marriages, while it doesn't have the best record, isn't an auto-lose either. It's really hard to say anything about this archetype though, either for or against it, because there really isn't many anime that deal with it.

Yeah Japan is a nice place to visit, vacation, and for fun, but I would never raise my kid in its society.

Oh, Paris Hilton wasn't my only example but as you can see it's the one that everyone seems to just stick with. U.S. President's kids, Bill Gates kids, Prince Henry. Look, we know who the board is made up of for GE, the world's MOST POWERFUL company, yet we know nothing about their damn kids, that's how important those kids are to people who revolve around WallStreet and the Stock exchange world their life.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but come on guys, the title of the series is freaking Princess Lover. There is one princess in the harem.

Together with the fact that the PV contains 90% Charlotte and 10% of everyone else. I don't think there's much to debate about who will eventually end up "winning".

And now, I shall disregard everything I have mentioned before and cheer for Sab-- Sylvia.

One thing I have learned about this type of shows is that there is never a sure thing. You only can go by what usually works and hope the wirters don't get too creative and follow the most common trend. charlotte has the best chances because she is not the fiancee and she was the girl Tep met first and they had a romantic moment together.

I'm fine with whomever, I'm more interested in the story behind his parent's death. Although I know I'm not getting my hopes up for too much, because I love the eye candy stuff as well...

I'm not much of a fan of her yet, but she's definitely got me really wondering about her.
