But just to remember that its the publisher that decides and produced the anime. They just contact studio(in this case JC Staff) to animate it.

This franchise is a success. Its just not that probably successful outside of japan. And its not like there are that many people who buy outside of japan.

heck, I'm not following this series for some time now. I'm still familiar with the latest but that is only up till the defeat of sun wukong. After that. I only have partial knowledge.

i've heard from myanimelist forums that 4k is the average for BD/DVD sales. when i saw the HnA sales i thought they were pretty okay but i dont know why j.c.staff didnt want to continue, it got better sales than any ZNT and even SnS III so yeah, kinda weird.

Btw j.c.staff most famous animes are To aru Series... Toradora, Shakugan no Shana and some others... how did you think they react when SnS sold 4k per volume? i know 4k is not bad... but it's not very good too. i heard it's just okay or meh

I will say that the anime for this wasn't a bad watch. Just too bad it never got another season and haven't seen much in terms of translations out there for the source.

I haven't followed this series in a long time but would anyone mind telling me what happened to Shirayuki? I tried to use the search tool to find more about what her role is in the story and, I couldn't find anything mentioning her recently. Did something happen to her or did she just phase out of the story in favor of more harem candidates?

Baka-Tsuki doesn't translate anything. It's just a hosting service. However, they did bring back the series accordingly to the series take-down guidelines because DMG didn't release any book in x amount of time nor plans to release.

Thus, any translator is free to pick it up again. Though, a safe buffer of a few volumes remains just in case.
