Until now there was 1 game where they had to improvise (chess game) and 2 games where it was all according to []'s keikaku.
In the Chess game there was the "roleplay game" aspect and the "magical cheating", which [] could not really expect, which actually even drove them into a corner, but they managed to win anyway. The shiratori game was planned ingame, they had the time to do it after all. Reversi though was completely planned out by Sora, as in this case they were the ones who were challenged, so I guess such situations are almost like auto-wins for them. Since in this case [] is the challenger, it has to be like either the first or the second game, when it comes to creating a sure-win keikaku, so either no real plan like the first game, or a plan that is creating ingame. But since they at least knew that it is a virtual game, they could have planned at least a bit, but it seems since Shirou had to make a strategy like she did in the episode, there is no doubt that most of the keikaku was made on the run. NOTE: keikaku means plan |

PS. Loved the BGM when Jibril was about to go against Izuna-tan. |

How long before someone comes to comment on how conveniently they switched their phobia of Tokyo off, just by the mention of it not being Tokyo, but a fictional sci-fi city from that game?
And did I ever mention before that it was mere coincidence their fictitious sci-fi city looked like Tokyo? |

And since the Werebeasts value scientific advancement, they are supposed to advance like how we did. So from the medieval like setting to a modern day setting is plenty lot in the future to them. |

That was pure unadulterated fun. No wonder Izuna got into it too! There were a lot of great moment, but my favorite one was when Shiro instantly shot Sora as soon as the old man explained you could make even your allies love you.
Now that Shiro's plan has apparently failed, I wonder how they're going to win. It would be awesome if the victory came from Steph whom no one expects to be do anything. Only one episode left. I'm going to miss this show. It's the first time since Fate/Zero I'm tempted to read a Light Novel.

Great episode i completely understand why Izuna got so excited.
Also im sure Steph is going to have a job to do, remember before the game started Sora had Jibril cast magic so the warbeasts couldnt hear what he was about to command Steph to do? |

That game intro was painful to watch, but the episode itself was filled with fun. I was really hoping for Steph to get in an actual shot though.
"You don't mind if I defeat her, do you?" Is what I think blitz1/2 is referring to.

Great episode I loved the FSN reference and Archer quote by Jibril. I really am tempted to read the LN after this is over. I am expecting Steph to end up being the key to their victory since it's getting rather pointless have her involved in these games if she is not going to do anything and Sora did tell her something important.

Anyways, fine episode. So many parodies that its a wonder they're not breaking copyright. Gal*ge x Left 4 Dead lol. Also what was that game over BGM that played when Sora was talking. Highly familiar...its at the tip of my tounge too...

Good episode, action all the way through.
Its rare that we get a full episode of action nowadays, usually most shows start the action during the last 5-7 minutes, and carry it over to the next episode. This game isn't finished yet, but we had the action the whole episode. Loved all the references. Cracked up @ Jibril's FSN line, didn't expect it at all. Expected that Shiro didn't really get hit. Wonder where Steph is at. She completely disappeared halfway thru the episode, she might be the key.

Of all the video games that they could play it had to be Gal*Gun from Alchemist.
The fact that the virtual world is only "coincidentally" looking like Akihabara leaves me a lot skeptical. How can there be so many particulars that are the same? And how do you explain the writing system? I totally expected that Shiro only faked her switching side, however it's not very plausible that the warbeasts never implemented a sure way to tell when one is hit or not, and which side they are on. I mean, you just need a system message, or an overhead icon, come on... Anyway Shiro's skills are certainly amazing, and here she was penalized by the fact her real body limits are taken in account. She's more like a machine than a human, if she was playing a FPS everyone would assume that she's using an aimbot.

Nice chapter, and the Steins;Gate and Persona 4 references were good
Poor Steph, I guess her time to shine will come in the next episode. On the other hand I love how Jibril acts when she confronts Izuna with the FSN quote.
