I'm afraid Okita doesn't stand a chance, but he should put up a decent fight. He's the Shinsengumi's best fighter, after all, and most likely the strongest samurai after Gintoki. I don't think so. He acted too much like the real one, and Soyo was also on the same ship. Our dear Shogun is dead...

There is more awesome action in a single page of Gintama than in an entire volume of your average shounen manga. Okita vs Kamui was amazing!!
I think you guys are severely underestimating Okita. He's the strongest guy in the shinsengumi, and he's on par with Gintoki. It's not that surprising he can keep up with Kamui while resorting to his wits (without that trick with the corpse's arm, he would have been done for).
