Strangely addictive rock tune.

"Nehansika"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ynexY_2j_hU
MP3 file "Nehansika"

As mentioned in my previous post, I went to "Sukima Festival".
My only objective at this festival was a CD of Etrian Odyssey music arranged by Passionate Saffron. I am a fan of his arranged music like this.

After I got my objective, I looked around and found a wall of people at the center of the hall. Without saying that was "VOC@LOiD M@STER" place. Population density was pretty high. I saw a man who passed out and was carried away on a strecher. Probably cause of suffocation or pressure.
Other than VOC@LOiD M@STER, Sukima Festival included Haruhi, Gurenragan, Shool Days events also. Though VOC@LOiD M@STER gathered most many poeple obviously.

List of VOC@LOiD M@STER entries
Music entries were not many yet. I think it will increase at the winter comic market and VOC@LOiD M@STER 2 planned next year.

The message in the dialog box says that disk capacity is not enough.
But message also says:
Required space: 1250MB
Free disk space: 7014MB
It seems disk space is enough. What's is happen? Maybe you can install to other drive.

Anyway, here's the Vocaloid girl singing and dancing Hare Hare Yukai:

(sounds a bit off-key to me though...)
Yeah, it can use some more work on the vocals, but props to the visuals!

I figured as much. I'll clean out some of the older subs and progs I still have on my G: drive.

Update:

Finally got it to install, and you can chalk it up to bone-headed programming on their part. Despite installing it on a different drive, the installer checks the C: drive for the needed disk space. And that was a pain in the ass for me since my C: drive is a mere 15GB and is where WinXP, AVG AV, Firefox, and the like are installed.

About character design and name

Someone wrote that the excellence of character design of Hatsune Miku is in abundance of characteristic symbols: long green twin tail hair style, hair ribbons, headphone, necktie, mechanical arm decoration etc.
These symbols make an art of Miku recognizable. Even deformed to this extremity (Thanks Maids):

This factor contributed to the explosion of Miku fan arts.

The motif of Miku design is bestselling Yamaha synthesizer DX7 and other DX series.
Coloring of black and green, decorations on cloth are obvious signs.

About name "初音ミク" (Hatsune Miku).
Hatsune means "first sound (voice)". Miku is "未来" as in chinese characters. This means "future".
So according to the producer of Miku, the concept of the name is "The first sound (voice) from future".

CV02 "Rin".
Her motif of design, characteristic symbols, name and let alone voice itself will show her sister's brilliance?
It seems these will be revealed in a few days.

OMG, that Retro Memory one is so good. I love it! Much much better than some of those annoyingly bubblegum-pop-moe songs that I'm sick of... and it's not far from sounding like the original. Very very nice. I followed the BAR初音 tag and came across "Sayonara" (original song? can't remember if it's been posted in this thread) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1405734 I LOVE IT. The tune is awesome...!

"Sayonara" is a original song by the creator of "Miku-Blu".
The creator stated that he has a plan to release "Sayonara 2".

Now the longer version of "Miku-Blu" was released.

The voice source of CV02 was revealed. It is "Asami Shimoda".
She is famous as "Tokachitsukuchite" by the song in the game IDOL M@STER.

And name of CV02 is also revealed: "鏡音リン".
It seems pronounced as "Kagamine Rin".
"Kagami" means "mirror". "Rin" means "bell".

This version is much better, and love the jazz/acapella fusion in it.
