There's a question I've been meaning to ask;

Do most girls here even enjoy putting make up on? I suppose the immature cliche over women's past-times has skewed an average persons view of what is enjoyable, but weh. I suppose some may enjoy it.

I certainly wouldn't if I were female.

It's a lot more fun than shaving

Make up is actually my favorite part when I get ready. My everyday make up also doesn't take longer than a few minutes so I don't see it as much of a chore at all.
Many colours, different variants, you can debate it with your girlfriends and you have to go shopping for it! It's a fun equipment.

There is also the bonus of always having something to draw on your asleep friends when the opportunity presents itself~

I enjoy applying make-up. Especially the lotions and BB cream beforehand.
I don't add too much blush though, as my cheeks are quite soft and smooth as it is.

P.S. Heels rock.

Hope you don't mind I disagree with that
I would rather shave every day (which would result in a bloodbath) than put up one stroke of makeup

Could be because I'm a guy though

That's entirely irrelevant, all that matters is that they look good.

Amen!

I personally never leave the house without wearing concealer, eyeliner, and mascara, at minimum. The world will never see my true face.

I've photographed many girls who will choose not to wear makeup for shoots, and then complain when they see the final photo that they have huge blemishes that I could have Photoshopped out (when, really, I couldn't have without making it look silly). Just powder and a little mascara makes a huge difference!

For me, it's hard to say. I see plenty of women among my friends, at work, etc., and I can't for the life of me remember if any of them wear makeup or not. If they aren't, great, because they look fine without it, and if they are, great again, because it's clearly unobtrusive enough that I don't think, "HEY THIS GIRL IS WEARING MAKEUP." I guess it's one of those things that just doesn't matter to me.

At least you don't have to shave everyday or every other day. Shaving sucks.

You don't have to shave every day! I'm considering growing a foot long gandalf/Walt Whitman style beard and being done with the matter entirely!

Just kidding, but I probably will grow one of those beards when I'm an old man since they're badass, and no one does it anymore.

True but I gotta look fresh for the ladies.

On a more serious note, I have to shave every other day for work.

Good luck growing out your beard. I've tried a couple of times but it itches so much, it's so annoying.

How did this turn from a girls and make-up to guys and facial hair thread?

Beards are like the male equivalent to make up. Pretty much every guy has to deal with them, some like wearing them, some don't, and girls have varying opinions on their attractiveness. I've been clean shaven most of my life but have had a light beard for the past year, hasn't really hurt my ability with the womenfolk lol.

Some guys look awesome with beards, others just look creepy with them. It depends on the guy, I think. Some guys (like, apparently, Nightbat and my uncle) grow such thick facial hair so fast that shaving is either pointless or horribly painful.

And guys, you aren't the only ones who shave, you know! Guys may have more tenacious hair to take out, but we've got more area to tackle!
