So from what I understand the manga is 4 volumes long and finished,is that right?

If that's the case the usual 1 cour seems like a nice fit.

So wait, between this and the series based upon the Hundred Poems, we'll have two josei series at the same time? And IIRC, Hiiro no Kakera might be two cour ... that would almost make up for the loss of Chihayafuru.

Yamamoto Kouji is the true savior of anime! Now that noitaminA's had a few mishaps, it can go back to its original self and keep its otaku visibility, which makes it automatically more likely to get the favors of various producers and guarantees at least one josei adaptation per season. Of course Yamamoto's master plan will fail when Natsuyuki and Kids on the Slope end up not selling anyway, but we can enjoy this until December! Or something!

Someone please record the press conference tomorrow.

I mean, it's not going to be available on Niconico for a rewatch after the live, is it? I'd love to bring headphones to work to watch this live, but yeah... hopefully I can find it somewhere later tomorrow.

It's getting an anime?! Aww yeah! I read it a few months ago and I enjoyed the main character's interactions with ghost man, feels refreshing to read.

The show sounds interesting, and I loved the trailer, so between this and Moyashimon Returns looks like a good summer season for Noitamina!

I love how simply listening to the trailer's excellent vocal work is enough to give you an idea of who's directing. noitaminA summer: Moyashimon Returns & Matsuo Kou Returns!

Finally, Josei with real adult characters leading. I've loved what I read from the manga so far; it's not everyday you have a widow as a lead female character in anime. Also, not to mention, Matsuo has been sorely missed. I cannot wait!

Hm... I never really did get into Maison Ikkoku, so I can't say there's a good chance I would like this one. But hey, if there's a bloc that can get to me to like stuff that I usually don't find interesting, it would Noitamina.
