Poor thing my a**. If I was an employee affected by this, I'd definitely be having a few choice words to say to her. We're in a recession here.

Poor A-1 is having to think about getting out fast and cutting their losses on this one when it should have been bringing in a tidy sum for a while.

If she doesn't want to draw, she doesn't want to draw. It's not like anything you say can force her to.

What, being sick? I mean... it's clear that she isn't sick?

Now, if you're talking about the whole "second-hand" thing... that's even worse.

I suspect there's a fair chance that A-1 is actually orchestrating this "sickness" in collaboration with her (she may actually not feel well, mind you) to generate buzz and desire for more product amongst the fans and 'true believers'. (shrug) ... herding the sheep

Don't think I'll be any problem for the anime since it doesn't look like I'll reach that part of the manga this season. If they do another season I wouldn't be surprise if A-1 decides ignore this part of the storyline and do their own thing. They've already done some filler in the 1st season and it was pretty good so I wouldn't mind if they do that.

Vexx it could be a mental breakdown as well... Generated by the crazy bunch of fans...You may think that there is not big numbers but they still can terrorize author with e-mails, letters and so on...

And not all mangaka's/directors are Annos you know - not all can laugh off from "I kill you" like Anno did with evangelion (Anno actually made fun of them by showing those bits of death threats letters during the flashes in evagelion movies). Kannagi's mangaka could not be emotionally so strong and thus can have problems with herself experiencing the mental breakdown. It happens.

Considering the anime is finishing in 3 episodes and is nowhere near the latest manga chapter this doesn't affect A-1's production period.

She probably might have too much works to handle (don't forget folk that she might still work at Type-Moon, now a big company which currently is making 3 projects, "Unlimited" Girl's Work, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru "aka the red witch strike back" and Tsukihime "2" remake)

Honestly, this is too coincidental to be unrelated to what went down last month. And since no return date is given, it seems as if this "indefinite suspension" may actually be a cancellation.

THE TRUTH!

And there is no point in denying it for those making a fuss over something like this.

Sad to see the manga being suspended. Hope she gets well soon (if that is indeed the case).

Another excellent example of how fandom seems to ruin everything.

I should write a book.

My first real experience of that category of lunacy was when John Lennon was killed by an obsessed fan ..... apparently some weird sense of "owning" Lennon's last seconds. Seriously different frequency....

It is not entirely unlikely the mangaka has received threats...

I guess we fanboys and fangirls need to learn how to utilize moderation.

Well, maybe you should and hopefully these incidents will occur less and less.
