Hey bros, does the prose get any better after the first volume?

This guy's writing style is fucking awful. At first I thought since Kurokowhatever was brainwashed or something he changed his style on purpose (since the prologue is pretty well written) but he just lost his brainwashing stuff and i checked ahead a couple chapters and the writing hasn't really changed.

I recall not being fond of the early chapters as well for whatever reason but like the writing style in the recent chapters a decent bit.
At the very least there's much worse writing on Narou, that have gotten published at that.

I don't think it is the author's intention to pursue such a storyline. Taking into account everything that's happened so far in the story, I think it is safe to assume that Nero/Nell are Mia's descendants unless it is explicitly stated otherwise...

There are so many things we don't know about Maximillian's time... Who were the people that defeated her? What happened to Avalon afterwards? Maybe all the blame fell on the cursed armor, and some other descendant of Mia inherited the throne of Avalon? After all, there must have been plenty of them, eight generations later...

caught up with the raws.

So if i got this correct.

Kuro now has access to:
- a Flying Battleship
- A army of Homuculus,
- sample of the Crusaders new battle armor
- The battleship also has a unknown amount of weapons (guns and grenades)

So we will be going form Fantasy to War Hammer

and form the latest arc, looks like Uresla and Reki will appear soon. Since Kuro is wondering about how they are doing.

She tells her that everything will be so much better if Sariel lets her 'take over'. Sariel refuses and tells her to disappear. At the end of the conversation, Sariel notices that a red tint can be seen on Yuriko's form. Some fans speculate that 'Yuriko' is another Envy Ray.... Nell is still too shy to confess to Kurono... Celis refuses Kurono's reward (for participating in the battle against Lily). Instead, she tells Kurono that one day, she might need him to lend her his power in Avalon. Kurono tells her that he will be there to help in case such a need arises. Lily plans to send her undead servants to Avalon to investigate the Cult of Aria. One of them is to infiltrate the organization and gather intel from the inside (in the worst case, she plans to have it self-destruct). Kurono returns to Spada and enjoys peaceful days together with his harem. Currently, our hero intends to go on a quest (I assume monster extermination) so that he may test Mia's final blessing... __________________ ---

sasuke706 Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008	Spoiler for : Mia saying that the Aria Church is trying to restore the White God's power all at once is probably the whole Avalon stuff, I suppose. They seem to be roping in noble after noble, and if they actually do get Nero (who will likely do it after Kurono is revealed to demon lord and not him), he can probably succeed the throne and make the national religion into the white one. Plus individual nobles might be trying to spread the white religion throughout their own smaller territories as well. Celis already knows they're doing shady shit since they've roped in her father and are trying to rope herself in as well. Which I imagine is the stuff she may want Kurono's help with. And as usual, nothing goes smoothly for Kurono since he has everything Mia has to give him, but he has to reach a passable level with the stuff he's been given to officially be named Mia's successor. So it looks like there's going to be mundane stuff going on for a bit, or a time skip with recaps as they become necessary. No immediate maou drama, sadly.

Honoakari Lurking Member Join Date: Feb 2009	Spoiler for chapters 626-630: Kurono and Lily go to Parthia (country of Centaurs) to exterminate manticores. Kurono gets to test Mia's seventh blessing, which allows him to boost his power to extreme levels and perform a very powerful attack. Using this ability however severely drains Kurono's energy. After finishing the quest, they decide to visit the city of Hairamu (Hiram?). They find out that the city was attacked by bandits (and they're planning to attack again unless Hiram gives them money). To Kurono's surprise, the bandits were aided by a troop of crusaders. Kurono and Lily defeat the bandits and interrogate their leader using Lily's mind control ring. Kurono then goes to exterminate the crusaders.
