Yeah after watching this episode I sort of got the vibe that she might get shot down, so it'll turn saji into like a complete god of Gundam that will be their final enemy...

I only thought she was going to get shot down because if everytime she sees a gundam and then goes into her panic attack, shes just target practice.

why not have Saji do it? always go for the pain.

Saji at least is probably going to find out eventually that Ribbons was the real one behind all the events that killed his sister and messed up Louise, gives him a great excuse to go into battle against Louise to try and "save" her.

Saji wouldn't touch a Mobile Suit, even if he's with Celestial Being- and that makes it worse due to his Gundamphobia.

And I hope Louise doesn't freeze up. Lord knows what'll happen when the CB pilots all sortie tour de force-style.

I think its more of a hate towards gundam than a gundamphobia, he wouldn't be able to face them. Towards the end of the episode you notice that he actually seems to despise gundams and want them to return his loved ones. So I think with enough motivation him going to try to "save" louise doesn't sound like its impossible

Well of course he got his ass kicked, exia was badly damaged and is outdated. It was basically a trigger showing that his exia can't keep up anymore with the newer models. So soon you'll see Setsuna beating them like cake.

Obvious he will, since 00 can easily blow apart Aheads with relative simplicity.

Hmmm...I still miss Exia and don't like the 00 design, but I suppose I should wait to see 00 in action.

Anyway, it was a pretty good episode though it was a little bit fast paced and leaves us with a ton of questions. I guess they want to be off to a quick start, which is probably a good thing.

I have yet to get to this, but I highly await it..

only thing I'm not going to like about this sereis- the high probability that Louise and Saji aren't going to have a happy ending together. I'm getting a Shinn/whatsherface (since I never actually saw SeeD) type of vibe. But even if they have to die together, I'll be satisfied

you'd think that after watching CG, I'd realize there's no such thing as as main characters getting a happy romantic ending in mecha shows (though i could be wrong here as well)

note to self: learn to watch for just the awesome mecha fights, not the romantic subplots

Probably don't like it much because the designers dumbed down the details on 00 Gundam and the other gundams and you are now comparing the design to Exia.

Exia: very detailed
00: not so much.

Hey anyone know of that other fraction? The one using the Terriens, Enacts and the Realdos. Wearing space suits from the Union, HRL, and AEU? What's up with them?

basically, they're an AEUG, but without the ace pilots or Anaheim supplied high end tech. So actually I suppose you could say they're more like the Trieze faction in Wing. Poor bastards. >_>

Er...he did kill that one. The Arrows team was comprised of that mook, the squad leader and Louise. The mook, who was in the GN-X III that was amputated, bit it.

And did you honestly expect Exia to put up a grand fight? The Ahead outdated it, and damage from Graham's battle with Setsuna still remained.
