Story Synopsis (from B-T)

This Ln is also interesting. Actually, it translated on B-T by Dogma. And his work is of high quality. And I think it's, like Madan a socio-politico LN. The translation is on B-T in vol1 ch4, and advances at a proper pace. I also intend to help translating after finishing with Madan.

This is a pretty addictive series, I read everything on BT in one sitting, I wonder why is it not that popular especially as its a completed series with some really interesting characters.

I think it's because many people don't know that such LN exists. That's why I open a thread here.

It's actually a pretty unappreciated series, there's actually no summaries anywhere(not that I know of).

For those interested, 11 of the 12 volumes have been translated in Chinese (over a very long time. Snail like speed).

So only vol 11 and 12 in chinese, huh. Well, good.

Err, setsuna, I think he meant 11 out of 12 volumes are Chinese translated.

It's a good thing to read if you like your book bloody, very interesting even if the translated parts in English are short.

the translations are done by different translation groups and people (e.g. volume 8 was half way done and then picked up by another), so getting the original source would be a pain.

Thank you. And just so you know, I can read chinese. I ask that only to use as reference when I will begin to translate the japanese LN in english.

I'm planning to read this novel as soon as there'll be more chapters in english (or one volume). Could anyone of you that has already read more volumes, if there is a bit, more or too romance? I don't like very much shoujo "classic" manga but with novel the classification it's a bit different.

I am going to pick up chapter 7 and epilogue of V1. I am mildly curious if the Princess figure out the masked swordman = fake crown prince by the end of Volume 1.

I have a summary of this LN, but I don't think she will figure it out here. But she will gain an interest of the masked swordman (without knowing it is the fake crown prince) and surely detest the Prince (well it is only my opinion)

Well, I decided to skim through the epilogue for the next few chapters, there isn't any sign of an obvious harem going on. The princess clearly isn't falling head over heels. Though the two clearly are power couples. I will be very pleased when V12 is finished. (especially since the author have the balls to actually finish his story).

Spoiler for spoiler...kind of: The main relationship in this series should be obvious enough since the couple are on half of the covers, but there are multiple rough patches. The relationship is developed over the course of 4-5 volumes and just when you feel that there is finally a break through, Volume 5 end/Volume 6 happens. I can safely say that it wasn't until the end that the relationship ever settles down. Also, the masked prince=fake crown prince will be kept secret for a LONG time. Character development is supposed to be a major emphasis in this story.
