You all are acting like this is the first LN where the MC does the deed with his harem....when this is only one of many nowadays since WN becoming LN is so common now.

Yes, but the majority of those involve explicit sex on-screen, meaning the novel will inevitably be 18+.

This one, on the other hand, did exactly want we've been wanting from DxD, Shinmai, and Magika since forever and just gave us some PG-13 sex off-screen.

Not sure what you've been seeing, but I've been seeing exactly what you're saying you've been wanting aplenty. Though then again, the majority of the stuff I read nowadays I'm either not sure if it has a translation at all, or the translation has stalled in the very early chapters.

Umm.. There are hundreds of LN's that have the MC have sex with his romantic partners, the only reason they haven't been imported or translated is that they aren't popular with "otaku's" who have love that whole purity bullshit in their waifu's. Now that WN's are more and more popular with company's picking them up thanks to Japan finally peeking it's head into the internet age they're getting more attention. Most of the top selling LN's are aimed at either casuals who don't know shit about the content or hardcore otaku's with their waifu shit, imo top 100 sellers are mostly garbage(with some exceptions of course) like 90% of stories don't ever get translated nor have most of you guys ever heard of, I'd say by my reckoning more MC's get laid than don't when it comes to WN's or LN's. Translators ultimately want readers, not knocking them at all they're doing a great service to the community, and the way they attract readers is by working on popular stories that are pushed not smaller(imo better) titles.

I can't help be slightly amused with some of the comments here... but it looks like I'm with the majority on this one. For me, for the most part, once you've read one sex scene in a novel you've read them all. This is not to say that I don't want characters to have sex - it's more like, "if you're going to do it do it right and don't just add it because you think it sells". I'm fine with how it was done here. Perhaps the best I've seen was in "Risou no Himo Seikatsu".

Meanwhile, outside the bedroom, there doesn't seem to be much progress in the overall plot... though I presume the "pioneer village" stuff will develop into something more significant.

Just finished read up to the latest chapter on WN (159). Its getting lame and boring by the time and sometime getting into my nerve.

Earlier chapter of the story is better, the concept of level and skill is good except the fact that you still can LOSE even when having MAX Skill Level. But i understand coz it maybe because differences of the status and char level.
(although it is unbalanced because he become op by using maxed magic skill level, but still can lose when it is maxed melee skill level, he should report this to Itoushin)

Harem part is good too, mc marry all 4 girls at the same time around chapter 35-40, whilst he have limited money and low level (about lv15-20 when they married) and the fact that he only been 2 month in that world.
I'm not fussing over the invisible sex scene, its enough when the novel told that mc did bang 'em.

The story is getting boring when the training scene and bath scene increased, its too repetitive and useless because it involve training/dueling with mob character like cliff.

But what I hate most is the mc (yeah its getting into my nerve), he is too weak willed, wishi-washi, and stupid. The wives is controlling him, and he always repeating "20 years this... 20 years that..." without any real effort to find a clue about it nor discussing it with his wives.

He did make up his mind to not tell anyone about his ability to anyone, but he start blabbering it to everyone, what a pain. I thought the chuuni eyes girl that have summoning magic will make contract with the turtle at elven war, but it failed and no further information for her lv.5 summon magic. orz
I thought the turtle will be undoubtly succesfull contracted as lv 5 summon because her lv2 is bird, lv3 tiger, and lv4 dragon (references to suzaku, byakko, seiryuu, genbu)

pressed by the count, the wives take over here.
On Latest god quest, I thought he will transport the abandoned kemomimi villager into his pioneer village, but turns out he only provide beast corpse, weapon and money to them. He didn't even think if that money will make the human or bandit attack the village.

But what getting into my nerve most is about the latest chapter where mc let Angela stay on the fort for the sake of the church (healer shortage). WTF, he let one of his wife out of his reach.
I almost slam my gadged i'm using to read the novel when I read that part.

Even if he can still reach her anytime by teleportation, its just too stupid to let a wive stay with other people.
(not to mention about the inconsistency of the story about teleport part. I remember he can only save 3 teleport point. The first city, the pioneer village, elf kingdom, imperial castle, the fort, it already 5 point)

The progress is very sloooow too. A chapter every two weeks or more, it will take forever to getting into the main part...

As for the taming of Turtle, i understood that as forrshadowing of someone else already having it under their control .
I hate how when they finally summon the dragon it simply gets oneshotted without doing anything..

(as summoned being don't have real body and can be summoned again whenever you got enough mp)

The dragon got oneshotted mainly because of Tilica stat is lower than the preparator I think. She was lv 20+ at that war.

It wasn't one shotted. Though admittedly the author didn't go into any details about the fight.
