Plus you have one version for each character. And remixes of the song that actually played in the game, like you destructive... So most of them are BGMs.

Also Hanyuu's full character song is a moefest

Though Dark Rika's song leaves alot to be desired

Yes I was hoping it would be better as well. I especially didn't like the way the music was discordant at around the middle of the track.

By the way, in the drama does Hanyuu tell Rika that she's flat-chested because of all the booze she drinks? I suppose that's a pretty clever ploy to keep her from overdoing it.

Sigh. So true... Yukarin doesn't have luck with higurashi chara cd's. I thought her song from first season chara cd was only so-so, but comparing to this one I'm starting to appreciate it really.
On the other Hanyuu's song is utterly hilarious.

Not quite, Hanyuu gets drunk (loool) and she says Rika to sit down. When Rika replies that she's sitting already, Hanyuu states that Rika is always back-talking only and this is why she's so flat chested

. Don't ask me what the connection is (Rika didn't know either)

After listening it a few times, Rika's song has grown a bit on me; though the fact she's is my favorite Higurashi character probably biases me a bit.

Yeah kind of grows on you after a while. Probably does help that she's a character I really like so it'd have to be a terrible song to not like it

I'm so addicted to the "dougas" or whatever those are called for days now. Not to mention that there was a douga in LS second remix album.

Anyway, the Higurashi version is awesome beyond words that me and another person audio-ripped it to our listening pleasure.

Too bad the vid made it sound that Hoshi doesn't know how to sing.

And with regards to the new chara CD, I'm lost for words about "Nano desu". I mean, after hearing the "40-second remix" sampler, I can finally get rid of it and listen to the real song in its full glory.

Oh, Yukarin rocks with the new Rika song, literally and figuratively. I still prefer "Mugen Kairou" though.

And can anyone dish out a translation of the drama?

There's no reason she couldn't do so in Matsuribayashi-hen though.
