I'd say he's plenty sane when it comes to comparison, honestly speaking. Depends on how you people define sanity, because within the context of this manga, we're talking different scales here; y'know, suspension of disbelief and all.

He just has balls of steel and complete confidence in himself. That's why he just gives the girls what they want. In one perspective, that might make him seem like a pushover, but in reality, he's actually being considerate. When he gets tired, he says what he needs to say and the girls follow his commands.

That would be fine for the stalker and knight roleplayer but not for his childhood friend. Covering up for a serial killer makes him an accomplice.

He's more just severely apathetic in general. He sees them as his friends so he doesn't really care further about what they do or their peculiarities.

I agree with this. He doesn't seem to want to get involved with more "troublesome" stuff given how his daily life is already hectic enough for his liking. Rather than waste any more of his time and energy he'd rather know but not do anything about it.

Well chapter 5 is out and wow that teacher doesn't know what he's getting involved in this time. I like the "interrogation room" scene at the start. Is it a dream or something because the main character is alone in the room and then all of sudden Stalker is there talking with him.

Maybe she is already there however it just that she didn't show up in the panel. It feels like someone will kill the teacher. Maybe its the MC or maybe he will make his harem do all the work. It just feel like the stalker will be the one who will push him to do it.
