I dunno, i just don't really see the appeal on GSC's Yozora... their MAX合金 Mazinger Z and Godannar are godlike though

For Static Scale Figures i'd rather divebomb Alter, Koto, Wave or Yamato.

Yeah, but GSC generally produces higher quality figures than Koto; and I say that owning a number from both, not some blind bias.

I actually don't care much for quality for now, as i have zero static scale figures except fashion dolls (then again they're not really static scaled) a customized miu VMF50 and a custom Dollfie. The rest are articulated figures like Figmas, Revoltechs and some Nendos.

Since this will be my first dive to the SSF i'd rather go with what i like, and let my preference build up from there on out. Rather to start with what i like and let it flow than head dive into a high quality product that i might not like.

Nah, where i usually frequent the figurine threads are always packed. Then i used the search here and saw each anime had different merchandise figure threads, that quite explains the spread of people.

Koto's figures usually have better poses with creative bases,
while the GSC figures share higher paint and sculpt quality and the figures resemble more to the original characters but the poses are simple and usually the bases are just a round circle.

I usually choose the GSC-versions because the quality of the figure is more important than the base.
