I miss Itachi.

It would be cool if Itachi still had plans in the works. I was looking forward to the hidden crow naruto swallowed turning out to be some ongoing cool and complex plan by Itachi, but it'll probably be some miniscule last minute bs like the seal's key or "THAT Jutsu" Jirya forbade naruto to use. Too bad Kishi doesn't realize that Killing off Itachi made him cooler. Though I guess the same can't be said for orochimaru. Kabuto has a real chance to be something awsome. Even with his crazed new interpretations of Orochimaru's original intentions, he could turn out to have a really cool backstabbing true snake role.

ah well, wishes and butt holes right?

I really hope Konan doesn't die so soon. She did say she was waiting for him and with all the Rain Village's resources at hand, it's not like she's been unprepared. I have a feeling it will be the entire village's ninja vs Madara. I'm sure they have more than a few traps set for him that take his powers into account. The thing is, will it be enough? Even Madara can't take an entire village down by himself, can he? Do the other villages even know of her pledge to help fight against Madara? The Rain doesn't need to be isolated from the rest of the ninja world anymore, so why try to fight alone?

I'm glad Kisame got some more fleshing out, but he just seems to be getting stranger and stranger with all the betrayals and the Zetsu clone.

seems like kishi can send anyone to their death bed by vsing Madara,i dont see how konan gonna win this.

So did Konan pluck Nagato's eyes? Or is Kabuto's Nagato something else?

Too bad that Kisame was smart enough to make a trap, but not enough to trap them while he was alive.

Konan said she was prepared for Madara so at least she will give him some trouble. Enough trouble for Naruto who will enter his kyuubi mode again to escape the water prison and catch the sharck to sense Madara's intensions of killing Konan. Naruto is going (something like Goku using his kaioken attack) to fly towards Konan to save her. But Madara will probably sense him and escape with Nagato's eyes, but at least Konan would still be alive.

What purpose would it make to keep the eyes? She knew Madara was gonna come after her. Might as well destroy it.

Meh, guess this is the end of Konan. Sure she may put up a good fight, but since this is Madara, the final bad guy of the Naruto story, he cannot die here. Add up to the fact that Konan is a girl in a manga where girls never get any action.... She's dead.

Strange that she's still wearing the Akatsuki cloak though. I guess she destroyed all her other clothes when she joined Akatsuki.

Kisame's death has been drawn out for too long. How does one survive after biting his tongue? Kisame's prolonged life span only served to let Madara know that Naruto and Bee are on the island of.... Whatsitsname.

The same way other characters survive blows that would most likely turn us into fine bloody paste (Then again, he did die by being eaten by a shark. Lets just say this shark was super strong too)

Hey, I'm pretty sure the lack of that knowledge was the only thing holding Tobi back. Now that he knows, he could pretty much just drop in whenever he feels like it. I'd say that's a pretty big piece of info.

He barely lived after biting his tongue. Good chapter, but man, are the Konoha ninja stupid...going back to the chuunin exams, there were booby-trapped scrolls, didn't it ever occur to them that a terrorist would rig his scrolls!? Anyways, flashback was awesome, his death was pretty cool too...now Samehada is an orphan though

Bee: it followed me home, can I keep it?^^

No seriously if she did not destroy those eyes then she officially contributed less to beating madara than Danzou... Seriously as much of a bastard as he was, he atleast managed to make certain, even in death, that Madara would not get his hands on a powerful weapon

well it does look like all the bodies were summoned without eyes........since sauske has itachis eyes his body can't have them, don't know about the others....but yea it is confusing

My thought exatly, couldn't Bee and Naruto spam their biju forms and break the prison ans catch the shark.

This here is one of the ways for Naruto to end, it would be cool if Kishi makes it this way
