Following the 2nd PV introducing the main voice cast, the official website for Noitamina's upcoming TV anime Punchline has announced its premiere schedule for April 9, at 24:50 (JST). In addition, an advance screening event with the five main voice actresses: Marina Inoue (Yuuta Iridatsu), Sora Amamiya (Mikatan Narukino), Minako Kotobuki (Ito Hikiotani), Rie Kugimiya (Meika Daihatsu) and Haruka Tomatsu (Rabura Chichibu) is scheduled to be held at Odaiba Cinema Mediage at 19:30 on March 15. Their talk show part (no anime episode) will be lice-broadcasted on Nico Nico Live.

Pretty much this, especially since even though this is MAPPA for some reason the staff is actually full of young khara/trigger people as well as the usual former madhouse veterans you usually find on MAPPA shows..

It legit is one of my most anticipated shows this spring.

Welp, that was fun.

Comedy wise at least, I found it amusing and the concept of underwear is actually part of the show's premise lol. Not sure I like Yuuta much though but I find his spirit form to be quite amusing. ED song is alright I suppose but I expect the story to get more complex from here on and out.

Going to stick around for more~

It's pretty strange and very wacky, but I really enjoyed it.

Having a premise that revolves around underwear is already done before, in fact Chu-Bra! actually had one (assuming if anyone actually watched it and then have vibes of it when watching the show ). On the other hand, I believe Yuuta's phobia of underwears might have an actual reason as it progresses and so far from what I see, whenever he sees more than a single pantyshot (specifically twice), he'll die of nosebleeds (likely due to powerups) and then revives as a ghost in a new timeline, very indicative that time travel is in the plot.

Chiranosuke is pretty interesting as a character, he'll be the one who helps Yuuta to overcome his troubles, what's more important however is that Yuuta needs to get used to pantyshots without any doubt, but then considering what's happening, I wouldn't know.

I also didn't knew that Yuuta is actually familiar with the girls in an apartment before, I like how they change their own underwear similar to real life, how the way they are drawn are sometimes pretty creative. Tetsuya Komuro's OST sounds rather catchy with a retro touch, I actually liked how his (soon to be memorable) tracks are used in some scenes.

Might keep watching I guess.

Why doesn't our protagonist just raise his spirit power intentionally? The cat said his power rises when he sees panties and turns red, right? He could have used that as a temporary power up.

It was fun to watch. The fact that the show doesn't seem to take itself serious, makes it easy to enjoy, unlike other shows. I wasn't expecting much, so I was quite surprised how the first episode turned out.

That was pretty fun and I suspect there's a lot more to it than you got the idea of from the basic premise. Wonder how many times the world will get destroyed in each episode?
I guess he'll rewind and correct the mistakes until he finds a way out. I also guess it's the hijacker leader who possessed his body.

Best bit was the 'transformation sequence' with the inset showing what was actually happening.

Who did the ED? That art reminded me vaguely of Junko Mizuno.
