I don't mind side stories, but this whole "gonna demolish your house!" thing feels incredibly forced. Like, literally came from nowhere. I haven't disliked any of the drama in the series (though some of the characters actions were annoying, I didn't dislike them because they made relative sense), but this one is just... ugh.

I'm actually not bothered about this kinda twist at all, probably because I've seen it so many times, I just accepted it as part of Sakurasou's formulaic method.
I thought it was a nice episode. Not ground breaking but it was funny and enjoyable.

I did make it all the way to the beginning of the opening credits, but I just couldn't be bothered to watch any more, so, instead, I watched the most recent episode of Boku no Imouto wa Osaka Okan again to relieve the boredom induced apathy. My reaction was the same as it was at the end of the last episode, Sakurasou is closing? Who cares?
The Valentine's Day episode fell flat after the tense build-up of the previous episode, so I was very skeptical about this episode. As others have mentioned, the threat of Sakurasou being demolished seems like it's being forced upon us, even though we don't give a hoot about the building. I guess the problem is that the anime staff didn't create an atmosphere within Sakurasou that endears us to the place itself. Nor did it seem like the inmates, except Sorata, really gave two figs about it (in the first two minutes and forty-five seconds of the episode). Now having read the other replies here, I am even less enthused about watching the episode. |

Well, while it's wasting time, it's actually a fairly enjoyable episode.
On the other hand, this whole arc (and the whole Vol. 6) feels forced the first time I read through it anyway. On the other hand, I just see any other way of ending the anime outside of Vol. 6 given the time constraint (Original works is still 2 volumes away from the end, and there's no way they can animate 10 volumes with such a pace).
