^ Black eyes are probably there to suggest that Mest's magic took effect...although Mest's clear eyes and creepy smile would have worked better for Brandish imo.

Makes me wonder if this is the one of the reasons why Makarov disbanded Fairy Tail Guild at the end of Tartaros arc?
Makarov may have thought some members of Fairy Tail won't be ever negotiate with the Empire and fight to the death.
What Mest just did must be the one of the things Makarov was worried about, just because of one of the members of the organization took this kind of untrustworthy action led to this kind of danger for all people in the organization.
So Mest sort of wasted Makarov's efforts too.

Mest sure know what he did.

Sure its a logical move as he thought August can easily outclass Natsu, Lucy and Brandish at once, an unexpected killing blow from a subordinate would hit him hard. But right after August second thought regarding the war? I can't say anything more than Mest truly deserves a punch from both Natsu and Makarov since what he did truly put FT members in danger especially those close to the enraged August.

It is not a good idea to let Mest know the fact that Natsu is E.N.D. now.
More so Mest might be thinking of destroying the book for the sake of protecting the Guild.

I think Yodo quote is what fit what Mest have done "Fear lead to Suffering." There now a high chance that this will lead to Natsu END awaking by the time we get to zero.

There also a chance that Marvis will have to save there butt after what Mest did and that what this countdown have bet leading to or END finally showing up after Lucy dies do to what Mest did and then we will have two uncontarlable monsters in this war who can kill everyone.

All we need now in this war is for the God of Life and Death showing up to past judgement on all life and all the gods showing up to just f*** everyone over, that if END show up. Worst thing that could happen is the God of Life and Death bringing back everyone who have die as his slaves and giving them all a power up and that would mean Dragons too.

Then again Marvis may end up having the most bullshit magic that can just bring everyone back to life.

I thought it was only the country that she could do that too because she said she only enchanted the whole country.

As I said because she Ezra mother or someone connect to Erza she can pull off something that is complete bullshit.

I hope this get the God of Life and Death and the other Gods to do something and make her understand she did a bigger mistake then what Acnologia could ever do to the world, not just a curse which she is most likey going to get.

Just image the God of Life and Death turning Natsu into END and changing it so that END will not die if Zeref dies.

I want to know if the girl lock up know something no one else knows and her worry and actions for the past few chapter is because she know whats the Gods are going to do if Universe One is done because she was connect to the Gods after all and she did show up in this chapter again, which is why I think she is important.

I want to know why the next chapter is call Fairy Tail Zero because this chapter or the next one will tell us what we bet counting down to.
