I have heard about it briefly...though that's mostly because a friend of mine had been going crazy about it and etc. Gotta admit my interest hadn't really been piqued then, though I'm really curious now, since Nightengale put it that way. >.>

This friend of mine found it in yamibo, if I recall, so it's probably already translated to chinese.

Well, firstly, I have read Thunderbird, and yes, there ARE scans out there. At a chinese forum, www.sosg.net You need to be a member though, but it's typical forum stuff. Shouldn't be difficult in the least even if you're Chinese-blind.

And RAID SLASH is argubly the only doujinka of NF that I like, simply because it embodies the things I like in fiction, dark atmospheres, relationships that cover both the negatives and positives in a putrid form of irony, little fluff and stuff.

Interesting... I tried to find Thunder Bird and had no luck. For me this is the first time I have heard of a MSLN doujin named Thunder Bird.


Anyway, I can't wait for next Comiket event . It just keeps getting better and better as each event happens.

Not sure if about the NxF undertones, but I agree the way it's "written" is quite well-done. The action potrayal isn't very good imho, but the emotions conveyed are enough to make up for them. Besides, according to RAID SLASH, physical fighting was never meant to be intregral to this story anyway.

If Nanoha's injuries were caused as depicted somewhat like what's shown in THUNDERBIRD....
