my reaction to the last panel of 86: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

it took us 86 chapters, but the awesomest character finally appears. but it makes you wonder why no one had noticed the similarities between Chiffon's volt weapon and Maria's, given that what happened during the first encounter is basically the stuff of legend.

IMO, Chiffon and Maria Lancelot are actually ones of humanoid novas who are sent to human world to try learn and communite with human. That why noone can compete her power and even when the body turn too far almost like a novalized pandora (even has crystal on her chest), she is till self-control, not like other pandora will gone berserk or be controled by massive nova at that rate.

Sadly, IDY generally makes his male leads wimpy as all hell... the only exceptions to this are whatshisface from UxU, and later in the story, Felix in Legend of Maian.

They may are different size but may same kind, and maybe like the human they are divided to many factions, some factions are warmonger just destroy any human in sight, some are less hostile, and try to learn about human. That why Chiffon's power, ability is a entire different level to compare normal pandoras even when they in novalized form.

Whoa, that's an interesting theory, maybe Maria was one of those Novas who wanted to understand humanity rather than conquer it. Needless to say this made her an enemy of her "brethren," but she was prepared for it and fought back with her newly created weapon, the Anti-Nova. And if Chiffon was descended from Maria, that would explain everything. I'm betting Kazuya and Kazuha were as well, considering their stigma bodies. Love to learn more about the Novas, and why they're intent on destroying humanity. Until then...
