Stuff happens, then other stuff happens, then people do stuff, then other people do stuff, then people walk around forebodingly , then someone is killed but not the kid we all want dead. Episode 2 Stuff happens, teen detective runs his mouth, psychic stuff happens, no one in the show likes the MC any better then we do. |

Tried to make a timeline based on ep 1 and 2 events, probably missed some stuff.
?? August 2015 - Gamotan meets Ryo-tas while trying out his dad's radio in the park. 12th February - guy claiming terminal cancer calls and Myu-po, foresaw that in ten years later he is working with a supercomputer. 19th February - Sarai calls Miyuu during her weekly stream; gets the advice to approach his father (shown as flashback in ep1, in its entirety in ep2) 22nd February (mostly episode 1 events) - Talk show with Prof Hashigami as guest airs. -MuMu's editor in chief (and Touko's boss) went to Hashigami resident to get prof. -Hashigami's manuscript. Meets an old woman, presumably Hashigami's mother or ghost(?). - Sarai in the class thinking about Miyuu's warning, but Prof. Hashigami isn't there. Outside he met Ririka who says cryptic stuff. - Aria got an e-mail requesting curse someone, the requester sent the target's hair (a familiar long hair), complete with the scalp. - Shun checking Hashigami's resident. - Myu-pom joins Gamotan and Ryo-tas as Kirikiri Basara staff. Then split to get their scoop (interview with Hashigami and Aria). - Gamotan went to meet Prof. Hashigami only to find the occult professor dead. Got help from mysterious loud radio person and managed to escape after taking the professor's golden tooth key. - Ryo-tas (and Miyuu) paid Aria to curse Gamotan. (episode 2) - Shun found the prof's corpse (and erased his dying message). Told some fact to the police investigator but hides the existence of the dying message. Also told his mysterious superior that he failed to retrieve the list, and something about 250 experiments subjects (presumably about the event in March 1?). 23rd Feb - Shun doing his investigations (talks with Miyuu, Touko); - Miyuu talk about the event with Sarai. - Touko talk about a girl who lives with the corpse of her brother. - Aria talked about Hashigami's death with Kiryu. Kiryu denied his involvement in Hashigami's death. 25th Feb - Ririka shows up; Miyuu's friend presumably killed/dead March 1st 2016 - Huge amount of corpses found in Inokashira Pond (shown at the start of ep1) |

Episode 2:
I don't know whether Prof. Hashigami's name is Kansei or Isayuki. Seems that the subber can't make up his/her mind. In any case, looks like Gamotan has found himself in a bigger conspiracy that he might get arrested or even killed! Still, it's sucks that Ryo-tas and Myuu cursed their male friend when he's in a deep pinch right now. On the other hand, Sarai will have some regrets that his father has been murdered. |

This second episode had a better pace and allowed me to actually understand a little of what the hell is going on..lol. Looks like our MC is bad luck Brian and was caught in one of the biggest mysterious conspiracies of all time
Myu and the curse girl seems to be the most interesting characters so far. I'm also interested in the reverse Myu power where the user can see in the past and mess with the timeline. It's getting interesting! |

Much better.
Miyu is definitely the best character so far, sadly it's more because she's least annoying out of yhe group who we have seen the most of. The rest don't appear enough at the moment to talk about. Someone in this thread called her a sadistic airhead, which might make her bit more interesting, if ee focus more on that. |

One thing I really love about these semi;colon anime is how they always incorporate social media, mass communication and technology into their stories.
- Occultic;Nine has a main character that is basically a NicoNico internet celebrity, and another that runs a popular clickbait blog. Relevant information is also being found in Facebook timelines or talkshows. - Steins;Gate had half of the main cast regularly browsing and/or participating in 2ch threads. - Chaos;Head had Takumi not only browse 2ch regularly, but he also was a hardcore MMORPG player and frequented chatrooms. - Robotics;Notes’s cast all had twitter accounts (and I believe that in the VN you can even check your friends’ status/latest tweets). It also had an in-series popular anime franchise that everyone online still talked and speculated about, and the MC was a high level player of a spinoff game that spawned a competitive scene around it. Not to mention all the cool VR shenanigans. All these series also have a very heavy focus on internet rumors to set up the mysteries or reveal story-relevant information, and we frequently get to see the internet freaking out or reacting in one way or another to things that are happening. Hell, here in O;9 we get to see NicoNico's usual brand of shitposting comments during the fortuneteller's stream. It’s all very small details, really, but it makes their worlds feel very realistic, and is something I wish more anime that are set in modern settings paid attention to.
