Another enjoyable ep. The Kitou-Satou pairing is enjoyable to watch when they argue. Nice to see more screen time for Tooru's classmates, that 3 minute rule is great. Sad to see Tooru and RUn fight. Run was so upset that she tried to read a book, too bad it was upside down. At least they made up in the end.

Spoiler for special 1, 2:

First one showed us how Tooru got her purple sweater from Run. Second was another scaring of Yuuko in the movies, she really can't handle horror movies.

I like how they explained how Tooru got her sweater. I must admit, it really does suit her to the point where her not wearing it feels kinda odd. And it's given Tooru another reason to be so fond of Run for.

And Yuuko, you should know better than give in to any demand invitation Tooru gives you. A certain other scaredy-cat could learn a thing or two from Yuuko, though: seen something scary? Just grab a souvenir and imagine it away.

Speaking of Yuuko, she really had a rough day with Kitou-sensei picking (on) her every time. And the fight between Run and Tooru was truly silly, in more ways than one.

Kitou strikes me as very lonely and desperate for attention.

Whether she'll find what she's looking for with Satou, well, only time will tell.

Forgot to comment last week for some reason it festival and karaoke were fun and enjoyable to watch to this week...

Kitou stole the episode she made me laugh a number of times this episode as well as Tooru's "fight" and her two classmates especially them seeing her with the baseball bat .

The specials were also good, though when Tooru tried on the sweater, I was like what is Run wearing?... then I went oh XD, though Tooru doesn't look the same without it for sure. The other was just poor Yukko.

Spoiler for A Channel 09 - A Costume:

Apparently Run's drawing skills are equal to the other prominent Yuuko this season. Run's idea of a zebra would fit fine in a Dr. Seuss book, but I can't claim anything zoologically accurate about it. Her idea of a squirrel isn't much better. The Halloween stuff was mostly trappings to the episode, character interaction was still the first order of the day. What I liked the most about this episode was seeing two pairs of characters that aren't really focused on - Run and Yuuko and Nagi and Tooru - hang out. Cooking with Run is a dangerous activity, it would seem. But one can't say she's unfair, considering she made another bowl of batter to dump over her head in retribution.

On the other half of the episode, Shiroda cc draws a lascivious manga called "Shoujo to XXX" starring a Yuuko lookalike. Pivix, feel free to exploit that to your hearts' content. She looks like Yuuko, but due to copyright reasons, she isn't! A nice song from all four, titled "Sweets Time". Probably the only time I'll see "Crazy Love Cake" as lyrics.

Overall, good stuff this week.

Probably one of the more funny episodes this time around, I died laughing when Tooru and Nagi put on the random act towards Yuuko when she got out of the bath. Run's drawing and dolls were also the source of much amusement .

Also Tooru's outfit was really cute .

LOL It wouldn't surprise me if the doujin artist is a classmate of theirs. Reminds me of Lucky Star. Only in this case its hetero.

Lol at Run's gift, i still don't know what animal it was. Even worse Tooru wanted it from Nagi. Run's zebra was interesting as well.

Good thinking by Tooru that knowing RUn would mess up. Still funny how she dropped it on Yuuko by accident but then did it to herself as well.

It totally looked like Yuuko on the cover of that ero-manga. Also an interesting fact about Tooru after they were done eating.

Spoiler for episode 9:

Run's squirrel doll looked more like one of those devil guard statues outside Buddhist temples, and her zebra looked more like a sandworm.

And it's probably for the best that she spilled both bowls of batter, since they would've been full of eggshells. But hey, Run's cooking could still be worse. At least she didn't put in rubber cement (unlike Donald Duck).

Also liked seeing Tooru playing the teaser rather than just the teasee.

Oh Man, ep 9 had a oddly brilliantly start to it, just perfectly nice way to start a slice of life ep!
Yuuko and Nagi meeting up, talking while on the way to school and then the little comedy moment to top it off, perfect.

Yay for the doll and the drawings!
I was waiting for this, one of my favorite parts of the series.

I loved Tooru being mistaken for a witch with candy!

And book stores, a time sink if there ever was one, don't know how many wasted hours I've spent in book stores reading crap
But seems Tooru and Nagi found something worth their while

Yuuko x Nagi is so on the table, just has to happen

This show has settled in to being just a terrific slice of life comedy. Understated, humane, and hilarious. Every moment spent with the main characters is a joy. And I like the lazy teacher.
