Episode 1:

Hmm, a show about drag racing...interesting. The OP song is kinda catchy I guess
Idk much about drag racing but it was entertaining at establishing its ideas.

More characters were also introduced than I had expected. The competition in this series also seems healthy with the competitors and their rankings. The two main girls, Megumi and Yuri are kinda fun to watch together.

I think this anime has potential. Going to have to watch more to see where it goes.

OK, so it was obvious both the main girls had the hots for their coach and had gone to confess to him, not just wish him luck in the Isle of Man TT.

I guess it needs a few more episodes to establish what the main part of the show is going to be about, but it got off to a racing start.

Nothing to talk about and thus nothing to say. As far as first episodes goes, it might have been the most boring "girls doing sports" anime in recent seasons.

At this point, the commentators are the most lively cast members. I think it was an ok start, but not something I would watch first when there are other shows in queue.

Someone should send some initial d tapes to the director. The racing itself felt like it lacked any focus despite the clear production values that went into the cgi. Overall the first episode felt like it was rushing to setup as much characters and backstory as possible which didn't really help much in pulling me into the show. I'm not letting it go yet though, the second episode has potential if they can properly show us what the full season is going to be about.

So... these girls who act like the exact same person with the exact same behavior fell in love with the same guy for the exact same reasons and tried to confess to him in the exact same manner at the exact same time and the exact same place. And now they hate each other either because the other one interfered with their confession, or because they realized that the other one was gunning for the guy they liked.

Certainly the ones that interested me the most. I love Ai going from Nagato Yuki levels of stoic to "GOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING MIYAKEJIMAAAAAAAAA!!!"

The main team is boring as fuck. They should go chase after the coach and leave the show to one of the other teams. Pretty much all the other teams were more interesting.
