She feels compelled to try and find ways to get out but she's terrified to actually walk through those doors.

I honestly kind of suspect her motive by episode's end is related to the expected home issue. Would make you wonder how unlikable the guy being pushed forward is for her to take such an extreme response against it.

But anyways I agree on her just being rather mixed up. Motivating factors pushing and pulling her in different directions and thus she can't lock herself into one single course of action. Hard to make such a big move like leaving a place she's lived her whole life and is honestly attached to. And yet she does have factors making her want to go.

I will say that having a concrete goal outside of just finding her mother would help push her in the leaving direction. If she had something she really wanted to do with her life that she couldn't do there then that would clear a lot of the factors leaving her uncertain.

Well..that was different and i cringe in that wedding scene but ended being funny,.

Poor Karen, a year too late but she learned who was her mother, at least she made the peace with that and now progress.

Sara is 17 year old? hope she got her growth spur soon or will be a full loli, and she want her arc soon..and she will get it.

To hell with her father trying to force marriage into her like that, really happy the brother and police officer understood her and helped helped leave the island

Wow they actually landed on the boat, that was some serious hang time he got with the bike.

Really sad when we found out Karen's mother was dead but at least she was happy doing all that research and Karen is happy that she found out the truth about her, even though it was only a day it was worth it to her, even her brother says the island needs to change.

Sara turns 17! She looks like she's 10.

So in the last episode, they just randomly and easily revealed Rinne wasn't sick and could come out in the daylight.
And now in this episode, Karen leaves the island and comes back all in one episode, and everything seems to all be fine.
And despite hiding her face in the previous episode, they just normally show Rinne's mom's face this episode.

Sheesh, no suspense is suspenceful in this anime, despite being a mystery(-ish) story.
And isn't Rinne's mom just Rinne from the future? There is no way her mom would look exactly like her for no reason.

I like this, reminds me of the old Key VNs that were made into animes a decade ago. Doesn't quite have the mystical atmosphere of a Key anime but I'm enjoying it.

Her chest was huge, my thoughts exactly considering she is almost 17 already.

Box Jellyfish here in Australia can kill you in 2 minutes.

I was very surprised to see Rinne's mother out all of a sudden, interesting black rabbit outfit she is wearing, though what was more interesting was the type of massage she and Setsuna both got.

I do the song All You Zombie because I am a big fan of the 80's, it's my favourite era of music.

Jeez this got really dark all of a sudden, mass murder of babies and then the family all committed suicide, but at least we learned the truth about Sara and she can hopefully live a normal life now.

Well, this episode pretty much confirmed that Setsuna's flashback memories are of the current girls' moms. Kuon with short silver hair is the same as the first girl in the flashback in episode 1. Now, we find out that Sara's mom is the big boobs girl in the past as well, with her photograph finally shown.


So since Setsuna did not come from the future, but from the past instead, the question then is, how does he maintain his age form? The legend did say that he goes into some sort of stasis, I guess, and comes back when necessary. There is definitely some mysticism here, but most likely not as people suspect or the ones the story has given so far.

Oh that's right all that funny stuff happened in the last episode and this time it's Sara who mentions huge boobs.

Seeing Rinne's mother smile and then all of a sudden get very angry is scary, I wonder what that was all about, it has me very worried.

That Sara is quite the character and is not afraid to say whatever is on her mind, even Rinne's mother came straight out with it with those notes.

Good, now we know the secret of the mysterious shack/cabin, good grief that was yet another dark story though and another Setsuna.

The japanese love their product placement. The jelly of the girls was out the charts.

The sneeze and those three girls. Very Sneaky three version(and maybe even more) of the legends to give them false clues and as a superstitious are the japanese.

Woah what happened, that just raise further questions.

Eh, it's starting to get a bit boring with this route adaptation. It seems to have the disadvantage of looking rushed but also feeling really slow either.

At least the characters are cute.
