I think it's obvious that it will cover the Dream arc, and if that's the case we can expect the fifth or final arc to be adapted as well.

I hope they keep the director and staff from the 3rd season. They did pretty well.

Ok, didn't see that coming but now I can expect them to go all the way to the end.

I don't see how anyone couldn't expect them to continue, especially since Season 3 kinda salvaged things.

I also thought season three was an improvement, actually.

It would be nice if they could keep to that level or even do better. ^^

Looks like it's going to be a 2-part film project.

Seriously, the first two arcs were first released as ONA. Then the third arc was released as TV anime. Now the fourth arc will be released as theatrical movies. I wonder if the fifth arc will be released as OVAs.

I'm fine with it being 2-part movies. As I recall, the Dream arc in the manga is fairly shorter than other arcs, so no need to drag it out in 12 eps anime. And being 2-part movies the staff can have better focus with movie budget, and animation can be better than TV series.

Also with how movies have been populated in global theaters recently, we might actually have chance to see it at the local cinema.

I gotta admit, buying a ticket in my local cinema to watch a Sailormoon movie is beyond my wildest imagination especially if you talked to me a few years ago . But now that anime movies have frequently come even to my local cinema (which is in a small town in Java), I can really see it being very possible. I mean, just a couple weeks ago, I watched In this Corner of the World and Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter anime movies in my local cinema. Before it, I watched Kimi no na Wa and Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F in the same theater (I passed on the SAO movie showing coz I'm not really a fan of it). Still, I'll probably passed on Sailormoon movie too coz I'm also not that much of a fan.

What if it's actually being released as two movies first but later it will be aired on TV as 12-13 episodes.

I just come across this trailer on my YT recommendation. Don't really know what it's really about.

Looks like the movie will be quite faithful to the manga. That's good I guess.

I kind of wish they can combine the good parts in Super S and the manga than use use the manga as a base while making it modern to 2020 standards.
