Well, since the chapter came out already, now I suppose I'll ask: I wonder if any of those biotope 0 guys are some of those super-chefs that the Bishokukai mentioned back in chapter 156 (that is, barring the ones we're already familiar with)? Personally, I'm looking forward to the introduction of guys like "Cooking King Zaus" and "Ramen Master Kurakage".....

You know, I think we actually had some foreshadowing of one of the "four beasts" before. I forget which chapter it was (don't feel like searching for it now), but I clearly recall Toriko saying that there was a beast with a capture level of 100 that he wanted to hunt down. Most likely he was talking about one of those 4 beasts at that time (and knowing him, it's probably the strongest of them that he's gunning for).....

The way I see it:

Zebra for the turtle - he conquered an island before, remember? | Sunny for King Takong because it is bound to be ugly as hell| Coco for the mollusk, poison combat. So that leaves the fang king for Toriko, which -could- be a contest of who has the most penetration and power, considering Toriko's signature move is nail punch.

More info on why the revitalizing knife can't be used by just anyone, a new potential goal for Komatsu in cooking the bubble fruit (which I believe he WILL do, in order to have a substantial role in this arc too). Oh and apparently, it's time for war. So many wars in manga these days, they're becoming as common as the mandatory beach chapters

In addition to the ones we're already familiar with, we're introduced to guys "Gourmet Literary Master" Malisman (who's a national treasure), "Gourmet Magician" Manan, "Gourmet Hermit" Kousairou, and so on. It's revealed that the name of Acacia's hors d'oeuvre is "Center", and while Ichiryuu thinks someone amongst them leaked the info to the Bishokukai, he plans to have everyone gather the entire full course before the bad guys do, anyway. It's also revealed that the upcoming "Gourmet Eclipse" will arrive in half a year at the earliest..... One of the IGO guys also mentions that the upcoming eclipse means that the "four beasts" will also awaken, but Ichiryuu says that they'll be the final training ingredients of the four heavenly kings. Furthermore, in one month's time will be the Cooking Fest, where all of the human world's top chefs will gather. There's concern about the Bishokukai invading the event, but Kousairou (the aforementioned hermit) volunteers to go there to protect the chefs. At the end of the chapter, we see Starjun, who seems to be preparing some sort of ingredient, and finally Midora, who's busy chowing down, apparently in preparation for the upcoming war.... Man, lots of info packed into this chapter! But personally, I'm thinking that the hermit dude was the mole who leaked the info to the Bishokukai. I mean, the guy does look cool and all (IMO), but seeing as we already have one old geezer who defected (Chiyo), I wouldn't be surprised if another one did.....

The best part of this chapter was definitely the reference of the four beasts: with these four to pair against the four heavenly kings, we have Grinparch, Stajyun and Tommyrod open to any of these new guys, should make for some interesting fights. Acacia's full course is a fitting final course, does this mean we're witnessing the beginning of this manga's end?

In order of appearance we have the "Mount Turtle" (a mountain-sized turtle with a freaking volcano for a shell), "Invaitdeath" (some sort of huge mollusk monster), "Gaou" (Fang King), which is a gargantuan lion, and "King Octopus Kong", a gorilla with an octopus face. Mansam of the IGO assures that the people of the human world won't have to worry, as the four heavenly kings are prepared to face the deadly beasts from the Gourmet World..... Personally, I think Toriko's got dibs on the lion, though I really want to see him take on that turtle, as well....

As for which one of them Toriko is gonna fight, I would say the Lion or the Octopus Kong. The mollusc is clearly for Coco. And I guess this means also Toriko will reach another level in crazyness.
