I think CYNE is pretty awesome. They did a lot of stuff with Nujabes. "Fall Through Atlantis" is one of my favorites from them.

Downloaded Kweli's Attack of the Block last week and it's easily one of the best mix-tapes of the year. "Congregation" (featuring my man Ab-Soul), "Outstanding", "Getting To The Money", "Mack Maine" and "I Like It" are among my favorites.

Its not my cup of tea, but I still appreciate it.Definitely better flow then the current rappers who are commercial. What really depressed me lately with hip hop/rap is Nas's album. That was so poor I want my money back to be honest. Only song I could really give any praise for is Cherry Wine. But that is my own taste, you guys may really like his new stuff and not his old songs.

I have always been a fan of rap music. Ever since Eminem started up a while back. One rising artist that I would like to acknowledge is Yelawolf. He is a new rapper from Alabama under the shady records label. He does this song with Ed Sheeran called "London Bridges". It is sick and I recommend checking that one out.

Local buddy of mine has been doing spoken word since we were back in high school (like 5 years ago). Thought I'd post it here to share his word/beliefs.
The artist to check out is both NAK and Elyon beats, but the one who is singing and that I'm referring to is NAK. Check out the info/details when you open up the youtube link to go to both of their channels.

Album of the year is Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, m.A.A.D City. Just pure awesome.
Haven't listened to the album yet, except for "Sorry" with Andre 3000 (which was pretty good), but I will say that the album art is mint. |

@Blakstealth Well out of that list I really like Andre 3000. A$AP is pretty decent, and the rest are meh to me. I don't see what people like about Meek Mill. So I probably wont pick it up. Glad to see Andre 3000 coming back in the scene, missed his vibe.
