Wow, they upped the threat levels tenfold this episode, for the first time there's actually scary baddies and dangers ahead.

I didn't even know Lex and Lena had a mother. Well, of course he had one, everybody has, but someone of note, with an actual name and archvillainess credentials? Cool.

Guardian is one mean mutha, those moves right there were worthy of first season Arrow

Or as I like to put it- Supergirl actually got a budget!

What I'm liking this time around is that we can have actual story arcs, and it's not just the old Monster of the Week plot now. Or rather, it's Monster of the week done right- you have your episodic Baddie, but at the same time you're given multiple-episode story pieces.

A small note that the crossover plot proper will only be on Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Supergirl only has a small setup part for her to join.

Is the crossover something that follows its events chronologically? I mean, I have to watch Supergirl first, then Flash, Arrow, etc?

Yes, but Supergirl's part was literally just breach teasing until the last minute where Barry shows up and says "Hey, we could use some help." That's it.

Honestly if you are only in this for the crossover, then you can just watch the last minute of Supergirl.

I'm on season 1, episode 5 so far for Supergirl. Will probably catch up pretty soon though.

Supergirl is back with this week's episode directed by Kevin Smith and also starring his daughter Harley Quinn Smith (Yes, that's her real name!)

Anyway this episode has Kara and Mon-El get stucked on a slaver's planet with a Red Sun where Roulette works with the alien slavers capture humans on Earth to be sold in exchange for the planet's diamonds. The human slaves get bought by the Dominators and they appeared to know who Mon-El is. Of course, Alex and the DEO rescue Kara and the others.

Speaking of Alex, she's now a very happy person since she now has a girlfriend and "other stuff"

And Maggie, Alex's girlfriend, already figures out that Kara is Supergirl.

So, let me get this straight: Jeremiah switched sides because Lilian threatened to harm people out of her reach and who can take care of themselves (well, more or less. It's CE series, after all). It just horrendously stupid. Even for Supergirl. It's as if Supergirl and Flash are intentionally trying to hit a new low over and over again.
Well, now when Kevin Sorbo appeared in the show, maybe at least he will keep me entertained.

I been skipping the Arrowverse shows (Supergirl, Flash, Legends and Arrow) since the mid season break due being busy in Real Life, keeping up with manga i forgotten to read or watching other shows like Agents Of Shield and Chain Chronicles. By the time i manage to finish watching Iron Fist, there is now about 36 episodes from Arrowverse that i haven't watch which is too many for me.

So should i just wait for the Arrowverse shows to go to their season finales and binge watch each show or just watch them by the week they first aired in case there's a crossover episode?

If you watch Flash and Supergirl, there was a crossover (on the former) just this week.

So i just saw Season 3 Episode 1.
So Cat is now White House Press Secretary...and Trump is Speaker of the House.

So it confirmed Alex and Maggie are now engaged.
Lena buys CatCo to stop the villain of the episode from buying it and use the company to smear his opponents who are against his rebuilding plans for the city.
And the mother who saved her daughter during the submarine attack might be the 3rd Kryptonian that came to Earth.
