Okay so the Summery of season 1 has change for season 2
I only understand a little but it says something about the half metal resources and how the majority of people in earth don't like Tekkadan and are labeling them war junkies, kudelia's ADMOSS company is there to keep their name clean and help the mars people find jobs, that all i can get sorry. |

Big news happen today about Crunchyroll and FUnimaton, now where dose IBO fit in all this ? well here is what they said in the Q&A
"Subtitled versions of many of Funimation's shows will be moving over to Crunchyroll, and English dubs from the Crunchyroll library will be now available on FunimationNow. In addition, Funimation will be creating and streaming new English dubs for shows currently only available with subtitles on Crunchyroll. Funimation will also promote and distribute releases for new Crunchyroll shows on home video and digital download-to-own formats. We will also distribute home video and digital download releases for Crunchyroll shows that have already been announced. Show availability on each platform will be updated in stages, so keep an eye on our Blog for more details!" - - - Updated - - - Oh now here is where it gets exciting In the weeks to come, FunimationNow Subscribers will be able to watch English dubs of Crunchyroll's summer titles including 91 Days, Mob Psycho 100, and Orange. I doubt it means anything for IBO.
It says "shows that are currently only available with subtitles with Crunchyroll". It didn't specify that all shows like that are getting the treatment. I hardly doubt one company, even a major North American anime player like Funimation can just create a mass licensing deal of sorts simultaneously or close to one. This is because Crunchyroll themselves does not own those anime, their various original companies do. Also, IBO already has a dub that doesn't belong to Funimation and I hardly think Funimation would be interested unless they can get the rights to the DVD/Blu-Ray as well, which they don't have. And RightStuff more or less appears to be the only company that's doing anything with Gundam franchise in the North America at the moment, so having another company come in and get on a recent/ongoing series would be very weird and unlikely. Funimation also said that they "will also distribute home video and digital download releases for Crunchyroll shows that have already been announced", which isn't going to plain happen for IBO. It's also not like IBO is an old series whose's old licensed expired and Funimation got the rights cheap for and is creating a whole new dub (like say what they did with Initial D). It's an ongoing anime show with an active license on physical media and a very recent dub. I also doubt they'll be getting access to shows that are already licensed by another North American company either. This is more of a move to target new shows that don't have a license yet and create alliances to help facilitate the popularity of streaming on both sites as well as the speed to dubbing and one media releases. It's a smart move I think because it reduces the lag times between. Now will you just release the dubbed Steins;Gate movie will you Funi?

I don't see how that changes anything unfortunately. Unicorn's dub has already been used by Sunrise back in the day, as in they were actually involved with the English production themselves and own that dub (and I think it was in the original expensive Japanese Blu Ray?).
Those English dubbed episodes of RE:0096 are also available on Gundam.Info YouTube channel so it being in Crunchyroll isn't really that special because it's a Japanese effort (of course, the actual voice acting was done by a North American ADR company). And so far, they have not been more since then right? It felt like an experiment and I don't think we have seen anymore such endeavors since. English dubs like Gundam AGE and Iron Blooded Orphans were all done and licensed by foreign companies as opposed to being related to Sunrise, much like most of the shows before that. Considering how close Unicorn and Unicorn RE:0096 is to each other, I assume taking the dub that they made years ago and re-using them here wouldn't be difficult, with some slight additions as needed. Now that RightStuff has been the guardian of Gundam of sorts in North America and actually has helped facilitated a dub themselves without Sunrise involvement, I assume they won't be doing that anymore. On a similar note, the North American English dub version of Gundam 00 was also used in Crunchyroll, back when they were available there anyways. This was back in the days before RightStuf got the license, maybe even before Bandai Entertainment went under. I tried it once and being someone who dislikes the 00 dub, promptly turned it off. I am excited to see anime have more dub and sub option on streaming though. Usually it's more like one and the other so even if it doesn't affect Gundam or focus on my region, this collaboration by Funi and Crunchy is getting me hyped up.

From what I can tell from ANN, 00 was handled by The Ocean Group.
Seed was handled by Ocean Studios, which also handled a lot of other Gundam ADRs including Destiny, Wing, Endless Waltz, 0079, Zeta, CCA, and G. No idea whether these two are related. Bandai Entertainment of course had these licenses back in the day. Iron Blooded Orphans' North American ADR was done by Bang Zoom, of which the only other Gundam work they've done before that is F91. License of IBO is with RightStuf.......I think. AGE has an English dub from that came from Philipines that I remembered watching one episode off. Build Fighters has a dub by Animax which is coming to North American physical media soon.
