It sounds more and more like a Facebook game. Which it technically is minus the Facebook.

And y'know? I actually do play that Facebook game -- SimCity: Social... just because. Y'know that single highway connection into the town? Guess where that idea came from...... So yea. It is looking more and more like a glorified version of the Facebook game.

Something tells me -- that I'll be stupid enough to go on and buy this game. However, not right away. Looks like Heart of the Swarm will get my attention right away instead.

Again, I'm getting strong Cities XL vibes there. I never played any facebook games so I can't compare it with that one though.

Its pretty insane. The thing I hate is that this wont change anything EA will still continue doing what they do. Very frustrating

I cancel my order for it.

Well, the client for the game claims that the servers don't determine what content. It just allows you to connect to the game. As far as I can tell this is true.

Course they wouldn't be, if they were they wouldn't be able to charge you for DLC regions if they were randomly generated.

Not any in particular. I've been informed that the server you choose is important, so I suppose we should all choose the same server. It's hard to say what queues will be like in the coming days as Europe hasn't gotten access to the game yet. On the bright side those of us in the U.S. will have an easier time due to timezones. I recommend a European server for now (I'm on Europe West 2 at this exact moment).

I'll just call it Animesuki, and set it as private on a 16 player map. Assuming we have more then 16 players on these forums we should probably make two different servers. As of now the Euro West server is giving me problems, so I'm like 5 mins que into North America West 1 since this might be the Midwest region.

On a side note: One must be very very conservative, in order to prosper at the start. I went bankrupt on my first go.. ended up leaving the town since even with a 20% increase in tax. I couldn't get a profit, and the few residential which moved to different city due to my crazy taxation on cheap land/property.. I was surprised they stayed in my town with me cutting off electricity, and water. Leaving the dump that was down the street running..
