Not being familiar with the source material, this series was a surprise and became something that I looked forward to seeing each week. It worked very well as a short format series.
There were several stories I enjoyed and even thought the "Dating Master" silliness funny. Minagawa's teasing/trolling was my favorite part of the first season. Last edited by SeaDoor; 2017-09-29 at 21:26. Reason: typo |

I kind of wish Hotaru would find a boy. I could see them working out some amusing conflict as she becomes torn between the two boys in her life and the fear of losing "Onii-chan". Not to mention that the Troll Queen would have all new ways to torture her. As far as comedy goes, Hotaru and the class rep are gold.

Looks like no season 2 for this series. I just checked several 2018 Summer Anime charts and it's nowhere to be found. Not surprised, though, considering how rushed and very unsatisfactory the conclusions of all of the various pairings have ended up in the manga so far (as of chapter 205). I wouldn't particularly wanna see anime episodes embracing the latest chapters.
