Is it that? Strange they classify it under PC software even though it's mainly a book. It isn't just the order for only the CD minus the book right? And keying "悠久のユーフォリア ハイレゾコンテンツBOOK vol.1" into the Amazon search bar actually shows nothing. Had to get to that site via Google

Pretty interesting choice to only put up the supporters pack like 3 months after the pre-order was up. I'd consider it if I hadn't already spent ~$100 on it. The shirt looks cool, but I'm not spending another $200 just for a shirt.
The event sounds interesting, and is actually...not TOO far from where I live, but ANOTHER 6600 yen for an event in 6 months that I'm not sure I'll be able to go to? Seems a bit steep. Also for those that didn't notice, there's a short preview of the song disc up on youtube now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPUos6Y5jEc |

Yeah, I don't think I'll get the supporters' pack either. The event is like, on the third last day of my holiday period and it's doubtful if I can fit in travel plans that late...accommodation, air tickets, are a bitch. Will most likely just get the book/CD alone.
BTW, am I right in thinking that the music team for Takase's current Shinken is different from the old Aselia/Seinarukana days? The old music is better IMO.

So the book came in today, and aside from a (somewhat amusing) glaringly obvious misprint, it looks pretty nice.
More importantly though, everything came on one disc which was a DVD, so my laptop's degenerate disc drive was actually capable of reading it. And I can see why they decided to put it on a DVD, since each of the (26) song files is between 120 and 190 MB each...to say nothing of the actual Drama. There are 11 base tracks, of which 3 or 4 are repeats of previously released songs. Then there are four bonus solo versions of the first track (Spectre), and then what looks like instrumental versions of the 11 base tracks. The Drama is 205~ minutes long in three parts and includes 15 minutes of commentaries from four of the main cast (Euphie, Myuugi, Hijiri, Berina). Haven't listened to any of it yet, so can't say much beyond that. The book itself has about 24 pages of new character material in the style of the Spirits Guide in promised full colour (just...don't look too closely at page 24), followed by about 10 pages of song lyrics, and finishes with 6 pages of exposition about the drama. The book is bound into a hardcover case along with the CD, which is a little awkward but does make the package as a whole very neat and compact. All in all it looks very nice, and with the number of times they've made sure to plaster "Volume 1" everywhere, I think it's safe to say we should expect a volume 2 to come out in the future. |
