so his gramps isolate her from anybody in order to let her awaken her powers. but the process is pretty harsh. pain aside, sometimes she lost her eyes, sometimes her hearing.... etc. so she was a little child withouth love... so she found mc only relieve in her heart so is quickly in assume the worst....

family(mother) is happy ofc but mc is a little poor in that part. half demon girls obvious fell for him but he is simple minded caring caier even when she treat him like a stranger(she dont remember him aft) more stuff happens and they go on their own and their group is temporally disbanded. caier go to assasin temple with her family(again so close to dump him....) and mc trains with his father.
until more time they dont meet again# and she dont remember him yet....

PS. And given how he was motivation for half of her life... wiping memory of him should wipe like half of her memory and resulting personality since they first meeting!

seem like you don't read Tang Jia 's works much before, unlike most XIanxia novelist who only buff luck to their MC, Tang jia works is extremely notorious for over usage of plot device which conveniently happen for no reason at all

Still, I am no longer a fan of his work. At times the plots feel really contrived and mediocre, not to mention chapters of DD filled with nothing but incomprehensible explanations and the over-dramatic reactions the flat characters have to certain events.

Maybe this mediocrity will inspire me to write my own novel at some point, one that is not written with my anus.

Tang Jia's story is, generally have a very simple plotline, you don't see much planning or scheming in his work. In exchange for that, he did have a very impressive writing skill at battle and no matter how little it is, he is one of few chinese author have expend in world building. He seem to be also trying to lower down MC's luck compare to other Xianxia, but that resulted in extreme abused of plot device, one of the more particularly famous example, is Tang San from Duo Dalu. His weapon aside, Tang men's techniques become a plot device where everytime he came close to losing, he began "You should be honored to be able to make me use the ??? techniques" and won, and the techniques seem come from nowhere with zero explanation before.

The fact that he like drama isn't helping as well, he seem to really like the separated lovers scenario and using it in pretty much all of his works and sometime trying to squeezed these drama in making flaw appear in the story

He really needs to take a gander at this trope. It's actually fairly uncommon but if written well it can be very satisfying to read. I still think he is a good writer, and I love me some world building. However, even as a good writer, he is shit at story-telling.

Does anyone think Yating should fuse w/ the god head Ye Xiaolei from the Illusory Paradise? I still think it is possiable despite the influence of the tower of eternity. Or maybe fusing the sword Aria of the Goddess of Light and Blue Rain, Hibiscus of Light to make the ultimate sword? If fused it will be a sword that evolves, has instinct and a soul making it an even better companion as a sword. Or perhaps he will fuse them but they can separate when necessary when Hao Chen goes into retribution knight mode.
